Bastogne, Le Cerf1

Stayed here before in 2023 on route back to the UK again in July 2025 on route back to the UK.. Pleasant little farming village. Good parking. Use of garage for bicycle safe storage. Spacious accommodation, light & bright. Comfy bed, great shower, pretty views from large sliding doors/ windows. Some lovely walks & great cycle routes. Excellent supermarket with great provisions including fresh bread every morning is situated close by just off the village roundabout. Also there are two food cabins close by, one where you can purchase self serve, taje away (pay with card) fresh meals, & a great pizza cabin (pay with card) which provides a variety of lovely boxed take away hot pizzas made in 3 minutes!

Again, we were troubled horrendously with flies. There again, tge paddock next to the accommodation had a cow & calf in it hence lots of flies. We could not sit outside due to flies & although there are door screens the flies got into the apartment. Having a drink, cooking & eating in the accommodation was extremely troublesome constantly wafting away flies. We went straight to the supermarket on arrival & bought fly spray which helped a little. The flies even got in our car! We we're travelling 4 weeks in Europe & had to bring from the UK bed linen & towels for our final three night stay at Le Cerf1 as linen is not provided. A clothes maiden/horse provided for drying washed clothes would be useful as not all clothing goes is suitable for a tumble dryer. Having stayed in 2023, we were aware about the linen; however, we did not expect the fly situation to be as bad as it was this time! We booked again due mainly for the parking, garage, supermarket & cycle routes.

Beautiful Rural Village Accommodation.

Happy with the location in the pretty village of Bertogne. Great roads/routes for cycling. Handy supermarket & pharmacy if required, also on roundabout car park Le Express Bertonge Station 'Pop up Booth' selling meals for you to choose & a great 'AutoPizza Booth' selling uncooked or cooked pizza of your choice from a menu variety.....best 5 cheese pizza ever, delicious!! Apartment was great, very modern, spacious & well thought out with good utilities & equipment. Comfy bed, great TV, good kitchen, shower also a washer & dryer if needed. Seating on balcony & wifi good. Peace, quiet & tranquility. Great parking & we were allowed to secure our bikes safely in the garage. Lovely stay & may well consider again when on our travels!

Unfortunately we were bothered quite a lot by flies in the apartment, there again, this is a farming area, hence we did not sit on the balcony. There is a fly screen across the door so you can allow fresh air into the apartment, but the flies are fast & get in when door is open. I made the mistake of thinking linen was provided due to website showing the bed made up with linen. Bed linen & towels are not provided, you need to take your own. We did not have these items as travelling for 7 weeks; however, our host made an exception for us & kindly supplied us with bed linen & towels which was gratefully appreciated. We must pack linen for this accommodation if booking again....other 9 stopovers supplied linen & towels, my oversight & misunderstanding.

Super: gezellig en rustig!

Contactloos verblijf is altijd fijn; vlotte communicatie voor de code. Leuk en gezellig appartement: kachel, toffe inrichting. Interessant dat vlakbij een voedingswinkel is (wandelafstand 4 min). Rustige plek.

Wel zelf bedlinnen te voorzien. Wij hadden veel zelf mee, maar sommige basiszaken mogen meer aanwezig zijn (bv kruiden, haardroger; wel aanwezig is afwasmiddel, keukenhanddoek). Misschien vermelden bij faciliteiten welk koffieapparaat (Senseo), dan weet je wat mee te brengen.

Top accomodati: mooi, schoon ruime en van alle gemakken voorzien! Echt een aanraader voor wie een mooi en compleet appartement in de omgeving van Bastogne zoekt

Tout était parfait. Petit appartement décoré avec goût. On s y sentait vraiment bien. Bien equipé et très propre... Propriétaire disponible et très sociable 😊 C'est avec plaisir que nous y retournerons...

Wij waren een weekend met de motor weg en voor een korte periode is dit een prima verblijf!

De ligging en hygiëne waren echt super top! Aan de overkant een spar om een boodschapje te kunnen halen. De host was ook super aardig. Je moest voor eigen bedlinnen zorgen. Nu waren wij met de motor op pad en hadden dit niet mee. De host maakte hiervoor een uitzondering wat erg lief was! Het contact met de host was ook erg makkelijk en een snelle reactie. Wij hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad. (2 nachten)

Het bed lag enorm hard en de bank was ook niet best om voor een hele avond op te zitten. Het verblijf is vanuit de slaapkamer enorm gehorig. Het ligt naast een weg dus auto’s kan je vanuit het bed goed horen. Helaas hadden wij ook net pech dat er een open lucht bioscoop naast het verblijf georganiseerd was (vrijdagavond) en duurde dit tot ongeveer 01.00 snachts. Het leek alsof we erbij zaten, zo gehorig was het helaas. Oordoppen meenemen is een must voor de lichte slapers

Mooi, proper en rustig. Garage voor motoren in te stallen.

De ijzeren trap en het balkon maken nog wel een beetje lawaai als je savonds graag laat buiten zit. Maar door de rustige omgeving denk ik dat niemand hier last van had

Een heel fijn appartement om te verblijven

Het contact was zeer vriendelijk en uitgebreid, zodat alles al was doorgenomen (alleen had ik zelf niet goed genoeg bij het sleutelkastje gekeken) Het appartement was leuk, netjes, mooi en had zeker alles wat je nodig had om tot rust te komen (inclusief een hele fijne airco) Parkeren op eigen terrein, koeien als buren en een fijne locatie. Ik heb enorm genoten ondanks dat ik maar 2 dagen ben geweest.
