Good spot if you're staying a few days in Houffalize

Great location, responsive host. A lot of space in the rooms.

Some basics were missing like soap in bathroom or more than one washing pod for the dishwasher. Also, it was actually mentioned in the policies on Booking, but it was the first time renting a flat for a few days and having to pay electricity and water as pay for use instead of being included in the price of the stay.

the very interesting price (best value for money rate) the big garden with the children's playing facilities the setting of the location in a calm environment the friendliness of the host the looks of the accommodation itself (old house with wooden beams) the size of the kitchen with all necessary utensils

the wooden floor and doors making noises, the only bathroom on the ground floor and the interconnected rooms the absence of shops in the village (by car 6km drive to find a bakery or food store)

Comfortable farmhouse in a fabulous location

The location was fabulous, out in the country with beautiful farm views and quaint houses. Moments from Houffalize downtown, which was adorable and had some great restaurants, and convenient to other popular Ardennes locations. The host was warmly welcoming, and a good sport about my mediocre French language skills. He also had some great stories about the house and local experiences of the World Wars.

There was only one bathroom, which can be challenging with young kids, but the host offered some work-arounds.

Friendly, flexible owner, everything very basic, but was as expected Garage to clean and store bikes after a day of cycling was very useful!

Rustige en knusse plek

Het huis is authentiek en daardoor is het erg gezellig knus in de woning. De locatie is mooi, in een klein dorp met de hoofdwegen in de buurt waardoor je ook snel naar andere leuke bezienswaardigheden kunt. De bedden liggen heerlijk en de keuken is uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt.

Er zijn drie slaapvertrekken, maar die zijn verbonden met elkaar, waardoor je bij elkaar door de kamer loopt. Verder echt geen tegenvallers

goed als basiskamp voor onze wandelingen rond Bastogne en Houffalize.

we zorgden zelf voor ontbijt , en dat was super met eitjes op de bakplaat van het elektrisch gourmet-stel.

een tweede toilet zou geen overbodige luxe zijn .

Zeer vriendelijke gastheer. Mooi huis en ook de bijbehorende tuin. Heerlijk haardvuur en ook buiten kon er gestookt worden. Prachtige rustige omgeving!

Zeer mooie en rustige locatie, net voldoende voor max 8 personen en ideaal voor in de zomer als je niet veel binnen zit

Leuk huis voor een goede prijs.

De ruimte van het huis. Het huis was zeer ruim. Heel fijne ervaring. Jammer dat het de eerste dagen zo regende, maar omdat het huis zo ruim was hebben we ons prima vermaakt. Super vriendelijke eigenaar. Werden verrast door een fles Chouffe in de koelkast. Heel fijn! Het huis was goed schoon en hygiënisch.

Soms konden we buiten niet zitten door de hoeveelheid vliegen. Dat was het enige. Maar verder niet iets waar de eigenaar aan kan doen.

Keuken was goed uitgerust. Mooi terras De prijs is laag gehouden gezien de tekortkomingen

ER zijn 3 slaapkamers, maar om bij de tweede en derde kamer te komen moet je door de andere kamers, geen privacy. Geen toilet boven enkel een draagbaar camping toilet, dus geen privacy op dat toilet. Alleen de derde kamer heeft een lavabo. Een toilet in de badkamer voor 8 personen. Terras is niet bereikbaar van in de woning, je moet alles via een trap naar boven dragen wil je buiten eten. Voor de Wifi met je connector manueel verplaatsen van de living naar de keuken en omgekeerd Een gevaarlijke trap naar de verdieping voor wie niet goed te been is. Bovenste treden hellen af.

Goede prijs in sperperiode

We boekten redelijk last minute nog een huis voor 8 personen in de Kerstvakantie, dus dan is de keuze natuurlijk beperkt. Het huis van André was voldoende ruim voor ons gezelschap, en aan een redelijke prijs voor deze periode. Het huis heeft een grote leefruimte en grote keuken, waar je makkelijk met 8 personen kan zitten. Ook de slaapkamers zijn ruim. André is een zeer vriendelijke man die vlot bereikbaar was. De tuin is zeer groot, een fijne ruimte om te spelen of te zitten.

Het huis is oud en wel wat uitgeleefd, en ook niet echt heel proper. De slaapkamers liggen allemaal achter mekaar, dus dat is inderdaad niet zo handig. Er is maar 1 badkamer met 1 toilet. André biedt wel een campingtoilet aan voor de noodgevallen maar dat vonden wij toch niet zo prettig om te gebruiken. Het verbruik moet nog extra mee gerekend worden, dat maakt de eindafrekening een beetje onzeker. Wij hadden een fijne vakantie, en waren tevreden met het huis, omwille van de goede prijs in een dure periode, maar duurder mag het toch niet zijn.
