Good sized apartment with wonderful views. Very helpful staff who organised booking of restaurants. Food for breakfast was provided in the rooms - simple fare but great for breakfast. Easy access to main town (especially if you like walking up hills!)

A great place to stay to explore the region with restaurants within easy walking distance

It was great to have private parking onsite and be able to walk into the village to a great selection of restaurants. Nice views, and the swimming pool was great to return to after a hot day out touring.

We would definitely stay at Villa Gremi again.

We had a large apartment at Villa Gremi with a fantastic view of the old town of Monforte d'Alba. Carola, who handles reception was very friendly and helpful, and even stayed late the day of our arrival because we were stuck in a major traffic problem in southern Italy. She made us restaurant reservations and had lots of recommendations for things to do and places to visit. The apartment was beautifully laid out, with a living area, well stocked kitchen, and a large bedroom. The location is amazing, an easy walk into Monforte, with its historic charm and many restaurants, and an easy drive around the Barolo and Alba regions.

Wonderful stay

We were very satisfied with our stay in Villa Gremì. We stayed in room 3, with the large terrasse. Everything looked like the pictures on booking.com and we have no complaints. The staff were kind and polite and the villa was spotless.

Hidden gem within Barolo

Everything was delightful. Beautiful villa that's fully updated. Lots of amazing touches like breakfast and fruit provided. Carola was so great will helping to organise local tours and restaurants. Location is perfect with stunning views of Monforte d'Alba.

The hotel provides a beautiful tray of assorted items for breakfasts and snacks. There is also a coffee maker and plenty of coffee. All items are replenished daily. We liked being able to have breakfast on our own schedule.

Wish we had stayed longer!

Villa Gremi was one of our favourite places to stay during our three and a half week visit to Italy. The concept of having your own apartment with breakfast items provided and daily housekeeping in a boutique-like structure, is unique and one we much appreciated. The apartment is elegant, spacious and well-appointed. The swimming pool is in a beautiful, private area with chic furniture, and is larger than it appears in the photos. The staff is professional and caring, always available by phone or on the premises in the morning and late afternoon. We loved the location high up in Monforte d'Alba which is a charming town with numerous dining options. We anticipate a return in the future!

The perfect home base for our week in Piemonte!

Fabulous location with great views! Property was only a couple years old, so everything was in great shape. It was very comfortable, and a welcome reprieve from hotels. We stayed for 7 nights & cooked dinner 4 nights. Loved, loved the welcome basket stocked with basics, and fridge contained yogurts, juice, milk & waters. Even a chocolate cake for dessert! And the food even got replenished every couple of days! Didn’t use the pool, but it looked very nice.

Beautiful, comfy, clean hotel with everything you need for exploring Monforte and Piemonte.

Very nice room with everything we needed - also for breakfast - and the hotel is situated ideally for exploring Monforte on foot. Excellent service from the staff, including the cleaning and refill of coffee, breakfast, mineral water, cake, fruit etc.

Everything was ok but please note that the patios in the pictures are private, so you can’t access them all. And the road is just a few yards from the house and the pool area, which gives a bit of noise.

Very nice property with the potential to be a great property if they made it more private

The location was very good as was the whole complex including the pool area

The road noise which included heavy construction works which started at 7:00am and went till 19:00pm which had we been made aware of we would have stayed elsewhere.

Excellent service, the team were on hand to help with any requests and really went the extra mile. They gave a great selection of continental breakfast options in the room that was topped up daily and also included a homemade pie/desert that was left in the room after cleaning.

Accommodation was superb. Beautiful views of the old town and surrounding countryside and hills. Lovely flat in impeccable condition with swimming pool. If not driving then uphill to flat but expected this in hilltop town with stunning views. Just beautiful 😍

Everything exceeded our expectations! Newly renovated apartment was spacious, very clean, modern and just perfect for our stay. Very helpful, responsive and super friendly staff (Carola). Breakfast spread was delicious and good variety to enjoy on the balcony in the morning (with a splendid view), and replenished daily. The freshly baked brownie was a very nice touch. Having a code rather than key to enter the room was convenient.

Lovely weekend in a perfect location.

Amazing views and location. Room was exactly as pictured on the website, maybe even a bit larger. Everything was brand new and in great condition. Having a dedicated parking spot and helpful guidance on route from the team helped make the arrival super easy. Hope to be back soon!

Nothing we disliked. It was raining most of the time so the cushions weren’t out on the patio when we were able to enjoy a break from the rain. But I’m sure if we asked they would have been supplied. Everything was fantastic.

Genieten op een prachtige plek!

Wij verblijven al een aantal jaren bij villa Gremi en elke keer is het weer zo fijn om hier te zijn. Carola en team doen er alles aan ons het zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken! Een schoon en goed uitgerust appartement, een plateau met lekkere ontbijt spullen die steeds aangevuld worden, altijd weer een vriendelijk gebaar.

Alles is prima in orde!
