Location was central Braunton, just what I wanted. Cottage was great, building was on an old diary farm complex. Atmospheric and authentic.
Little hard to get to with the layout of the property but totally worth it.

Super comfy bed. Close to lovely beaches. Braunton was great, lots of places to eat and a Tesco express. Recommend The Black Horse pub.
Would have liked the garden attached to the property as we had dogs, but the garden available for the cottage was close and big so not a big problem. (We were aware when we booked).

Cosy feel and style of the property and massive bed
Doors connecting to other properties, although locked we couldn’t lock them ourselves.

It is located in a beautiful area. The cottage was set out so well with everything you need for a family vacation, a home from home. Comfy beds a lovely enclosed garden area for family fun. I can't recommend enough.
There wasn't anything I didn't like

We were staying a couple of nights for a family wedding in Braunton. The cottage was very close to the wedding venue and had everything we needed for our stay. We were very happy with our stay. Unfortunately we didn't have time to make use of the lovely walled garden, but would thoroughly recommend.
There was nothing we didn't like about Diana's cottage.

Lovely peaceful location. Property very clean and a good size. Lovely touch of milk, chocolates and fresh flowers on arrival. Very well equipped property. Would definitely book again.
The road up to the property is in awful condition so driving up was tricky. The water from the shower was scolding hot even on a cool setting so a warning note would have been appreciated.

Lovely cosy and spacious property. Very peaceful and a real get away from it all feel.
Kitchen was well appointed with loads of crockery and cookware.
Comfortable beds with crisp clean linen.
A welcome book with some basic details, including checkout info would have been useful.

Excellent peaceful location situated in an elevated position with views accross and beyond Braunton.
My aged in-laws (94 & 88) found the high amount of stairs challenging.

The cottage was beautiful and steeped in history. The location was also so beautiful and quiet. The property was warm and very cosy, and close to Braunton and all the surf spots. Perfect for our girls weekend away. Check in was super easy and the directions to the property were clear and very helpful. The scones with jam and cream and the prosecco and milk were such a lovely welcome and so thoughtful and just wanted we wanted when we arrived or for post surf snack :) The flowers were a lovely touch also. Thank you so much! We had the best weekend!
One of the single duvets was slightly on the slim side however there were plenty of blankets for extra warmth

A wonderful stay home from home. The cottage is oozing charm and character with a beautiful Oak staircase, Vintage furniture, Arts and crafts carved doors and an Arga in the kitchen. It has an inviting lived in feeling very removed from the sterile nature of many holiday let’s. It’s location, on the borders of the town is quiet and peaceful and yet only a short drive to the stunning local beaches.
Nothing!!
Suggestions - just need a wood or plastic chopping board for bread and then meat preparation.
Might be useful to have a washable large mat or rug as you step down from the front door. The sitting room carpet is cream and we were worried about getting it dirty and where to leave shoes on entry.
Same thinking for wet coats, the hooks are at the base of the stairs over carpet so again you wouldn’t want to hang wet coats there. Maybe a shoe rack and hooks in the kitchen on the wall by the bread oven? It’s over the hard floor would prevent damage to the carpet.

We loved the location, the views were fabulous and it was so peaceful and quiet. We also loved how warm and cosy it felt with the Aga in the kitchen. It was great to have a separate toilet to the bathroom with 4 adults staying and having a dishwasher was really handy. The bed in the main bedroom was really comfortable. Braunton was only a short distance away and there were some lovely shops and restaurants there. We had lunch at Shires which was delicious. Saunton was great for surfing and we had a lovely cliff walk from Croyde to Putsborough which had magnificent views and a great cafe for lunch.
The only thing we didn't like were the mattresses in the second bedroom, they weren't very comfortable unfortunately, fine for children but not great for adults. The kitchen could do with a wooden spoon as we couldn't find one. Apart from that, the facilities were great and we had everything we needed.

It was a really great location with cosy home vibe. Great kitchen which was very well kitted out and we enjoyed using, lovely family bathroom.
The track and parking, luckily we were in our van which just about got up it with a few scrapes underneath, the parking was a tight squeeze for the van but doable if calm minded. It sucked a bit that the queen bed was two beds put together, wasn’t comfy if you fell in the join, but linens and pillows were delightful. Lots of unexpected steps/stairs in the house and garden, not great for a walking baby.

It's an amazing place to stay. Hopefully we will return soon
We arrived following the owner's instructions at 18h in winter and it was very dark. It would be an idea to put a light on outside. That would be my only suggestion as the cottage is PERFECT and is in an idyllic location.

Lovely, roomy cottage. Beautiful, well equipt kitchen with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and chocolates on arrival and a highchair for our baby. On a wet weekend the cottage was a welcome, warm base to return to. Great shower too!
