Nishi Holiday Apartments

Very easy, but we needed to take note of where the lock box was located vs where the car parking space was. Lock Box was easy to open, and instructions were very clear. No issues getting hold of the key to the apartment.

There was a bit of traffic noise, even on the 9th Floor. As long as you are prepared for that, it’s not a problem. It is also not a lot of traffic noise, pretty standard if accommodation is near a somewhat busy road. The garbage chute being closed due to a blockage was an inconvenience, but we walked around to the other lifts and used the chute there,

Great location, easy to access, nice design. The apartment was facing black mountain and we had no traffic noise, even on a lower floor. Quite compact, but good wardrobe spaces.

The bathroom had a glass wall, with a curtain to pull across for privacy. Not bad, but something to be prepared for. Not the fault of the owner, but the design is a little strange.

Location was great. Terrific view of parliament house over lake.

A couple of maintenance need to be fixed. 1. bedroom sliding door has fallen off track. 2. Bathroom sink is a bit blocked. 3. hook behind bathroom door is broken. 4. Laundry cupboard door hinges are broken.

The location was good but a little far from city center liked the fact that there was a movie theatre downstairs.

The communication was poor. The phone number given by booking.com was unreachable and I was told from two days before arrival that I could not leave a message as the mailbox was full. I was told We could go in at 3:00pm but I did not receive instructions on how to access the key until 4:30pm. Because I had not heard I was ready to book somewhere else or return home. The apartment was spacious but the fact that I had to climb over to my side of the bed as there were partitions blocking access was inappropriate. There was also only one side table by the bed which meant I had to put my jewelry and other things on the floor. The doors on the cupboards were all coming off and we had to take care when closing. I was disappointed that I had to buy a scourer and sponge to wash the dishes as none were given and I did not use the dishwasher for just a few plates and pot.
