Splendid property, comfortable, airy and very well appointed. The hosts have excellent taste, reflected in the fixtures and fittings, design details and vision for an elegant entertaining house. Tons of space in the communal areas and bedrooms. Luxurious and tasteful, we loved it 😊

Stunning, well appointed house! Very comfortable and we enjoyed making our breakfast before heading out. Good location for what we wanted to see. Heated bath floors, laundry and room to spread out were benefits.

A stunning home that made our stay delightful

The property is stunning , finished to a very high standard and no expense has been spared . The beds are very comfortable and the property is spotless and very clean , access is via a private gate and the barn is totally enclosed by fences

Amazing views, comfortable bed and great stay!

It was clean, incredibly comfortable and stylish. Great space and beautiful location overlooking the water. We loved that we could walk to the grocery store and restaurant right behind the building at the neighbor hotel.

We had a little hiccup with the coffee first morning. The machine didn’t work and the owner/manager wasn’t helpful in finding a solution. So only suggestion would be to get a basic coffee machine or nespresso.

Great modern house on Skye

This house is exactly as it is in the pictures, maybe even nicer. The beds were comfy, the linens, decor and kitchen equipment all top notch. There are two bedrooms each ensuite upstairs and 1 bedroom ensuite down stairs. there is an additional bathroom downstairs as well. Everyplace we wanted to visit on Skye was under or at an hour except our drive out to Neist Point Lighthouse (worth the 1.5 hour drive) We stopped at many places along the way so it wasn't too bad. We loved the Fairy Glen, Fairy Pools , The Quaring hike and the Old Man of Storr hike. We chartered a sailboat out of Portree which was fun even with no wind! We loved that the grocery store was right down the street from us as we prepared many of our own meals. But when we tired of cooking, we got take out from the bar across the street and the pizza place a few blocks away. I would highly recommend this house for a group of 6 .

A perfect stay

The barn was as beautiful as it looks in the photos. So cosy and warm as well as being perfectly clean. It was such a lovely place to stay and the host was very helpful and attentive if we had any questions. Very spacious with everything included. Would highly recommend!!

Perfect house in a brilliant location

Truly exceptional house. Looks brand new. I could move in here tomorrow! Very comfortable. Always warm. Wi-fi and tv all work perfectly. Well sited for exploring Skye and adjacent mainland. Local supermarket is excellent and open 24 hours. No hesitation in recommending it.

Wow! Amazing place to spend time with family...

Beautiful home to relax in and take in the views from every room. Who needs a TV with views like these! Stunning inside and out. Every luxury you could ask for. Best nights sleep in forever. Comfy beds and luxurious linens. Fabulous kitchen with everything you could need. From top to bottom this house is absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be booking again only next time for longer!!

Die Unterkunft hat all unsere Erwartungen erfüllt und sogar übertroffen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt, unsere Bedürfnisse wurden voll und ganz erfüllt – es hat an nichts gefehlt. 😊

Was uns ein wenig gefehlt hat, war eine gemütliche Lounge oder Sitzecke auf der Seeseite – ein Platz, an dem man entspannt die Aussicht geniessen könnte. Auch im Bereich der Sauberkeit gibt es nur minimale Anmerkungen: Kleinigkeiten wie die WC-Bürsten oder das Sieb im Tumbler, sowie Siphon in der Dusche hätten vielleicht etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit vertragen – aber das ist wirklich Meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau. Insgesamt war der Eindruck durchweg positiv und die genannten Punkte sind eher als Anregung denn als wirkliche Kritik zu verstehen.

Es ist ein sehr schönes gut ausgestattetes Haus, in dem man es sich wirklich gutgehen lassen kann. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, ein Bad an jedem Schlafzimmer ist natürlich Luxus pur.

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln, bis auf die Spülmaschine, diese hat das Spülprogramm immer abgebrochen und musste neu gestartet werden. Ansonsten hätten wir uns auf der Couch noch Kissen gewünscht und eventuell ein oder 2 Decken.
