We totally enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. It was very welcoming with snacks and some drinks We did most

I like the set up. There were 3 bedrooms with a total of 5 beds. There were 2 full baths as well. It was very homey and comfortable. Very well located and private too.

The only thing I would suggest woukd be to have bigger towels and more face clothes.

Everything was perfect , the host Janette met us with a smile, she was lovely and chatted away for a while about different things too do in the area and had a good in depth knowledge of Skye. The house is in a brilliant location and is just as you come over the bridge into Skye , the views from the windows are phenomenal. everything was perfect , the place was clean and the house is nice and modern with good comfy beds. What more could you ask for ? We traveled up on motorcycles and there was a nice big driveway to accommodate them. Next time we travel to Skye I'll be staying here without a doubt.

Very cosy 'home from home' for our holidays

Very clean and comfortable, and great location - walkable into Kyleakin and also very handy for the Bridge and main road to access rest of Skye, but quiet backwater with scenic views from top floor bedrooms. Host Janette was very responsive, including providing washing powder when we found there wasn't any.

A few practical touches missing, like loo brushes. And a bit strange that double bedroom wasn't the one with the en-suite - with our family set-up, 3 of us (parents in double & 1 adult child in top floor twin) ended up sharing top floor bathroom and 1 adult child had en-suite on ground floor. Grass in back garden was very high so would have been difficult to use garden table & chairs - lawn was mowed but only late on in our stay.

Very nice comfortable place with plenty of equipment

Really nice and comfortable house, clean, very well equipped and maintained by kind and friendly hosts. Good location from where the entire Isle of Skye as well as the Lochalsh region can be reached for day tours. Fast wifi.

A great family base for a holiday in Skye with our adult children.

Janette was a very welcoming and helpful host. The location is great allowing easy access both to Skye itself and to the mainland. The house provides all the essentials for a comfortable stay including dishwasher and washing machine.

Location is very convenient though doesn't have a 'view'.

Clean & interiors finished to a high standard. Basic provisions left by host. Visit by host shortly after arrival to ensure everything was OK.

Garden could do with a bit of TLC.

Lovely week on Skye in the sunshine.

The property is well placed to explore both Skye and the mainland. It is spacious, very well equipped and immaculately clean. The beds are extremely comfortable. We particularly liked the bedroom downstairs with en-suite as my father has difficulty walking so didn’t have to use the stairs.

Heerlijk verblijf in mooi huis

Prima locatie. Aan het begin van Isle of Skye, vlak na de brug, vandaar alles makkelijk te bereizen. Laadpalen op relatief korte afstand. Leuk welkom pakket bij aankomst. In de keuken waren voldoende pannen, bestek e.d. aanwezig.

Hébergement au top, bien situé, calme, bien équipé et très confortable. Nous avons bien été accueillis par notre hôte très sympathique. Nous avons bien apprécié le panier de bienvenue.
