Glasgow Comfortable and Modern 3 Bedroom Mid Terraced Villa

The space, it was clean with comfy beds, and parking, well appointed, kitchen. Lovely stay for our needs. It appears to be recently renovated with new bathroom, under stairs loo and kitchen. We were a family of 4 and lots of space for us, the front bedroom is massive with 2 double beds, the back bedroom has a double bed and also a fold up bed against the wall and the downstairs bedroom has 2 singles pushed together. The info states no space for a travel cot, however I would disagree, in both the up stairs rooms could accommodate a cot, especially if the fold up bed is folded. It’s on a main road, but was quiet inside. Off road parking is a bonus, also free on road parking outside. Check in was easy and well described. Landlord was responsive on wats app and the phone, very professional throughout booking, sending info & during the stay.

The back garden was messy with weeds, cigarettes and all 6 bins were overflowing with food / rubbish/ nappies, we saw flys, maggots, squirrels and rats in the bins. The downstairs smelt of smoke, this was attempted to be disguised by horrible plug in air fresher. We only received one set of keys, this was not an issue for our stay, however I did advise the landlord, it was understood that the previous guest may have mistakenly taken them, this seemed ok until I became worried that someone has a set of keys and could enter the property! When we arrived the WiFi was unplugged and hard to locate, also the heating thermostat was turned up and it was sweltering, again hard to initially locate the controls. We advised the landlord and they have stated that they plan to rectify the key and bin situation.

It was a bit far from central Glasgow but a taxi or uber was not expensive.

The house was fine. Clean. Comfortable.

The admin. £300 deposit for 2 nights. Taken immediately. 7 days to return. Never received check I or check out instructions. Got in because cleaner was there. Told them we would be there after 3, which was checkin on the app, then told its really checkin at 4. Tumble dryer left running in one of the bedrooms. Washing left out on the line.
