The size of the hut, lots of space. Bed was comfortable, loads of breakfast options, good sized TV.
Easy to find, good place to start the NC500
The large green exit sign lit the room at night making it hard to sleep.
The sound of the fridge during the night kept me awake .
The tap in bathroom is too big for the sink making water spray over you and it was hard to try and wash up.
Wasn’t what I was expecting in terms of surrounding area.

Loved its quirky nature, and homely touches, cosy with lots of character, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast exceed expectations.
The low door to the bathroom and the heater in the bathroom was temperamental.

The accommodation was pleasant for a short stay, ideal for a one-night stop while passing through Inverness. While it felt a bit overpriced for the overall offering, the hosts clearly made an effort to ensure guests are comfortable. The additional heating sources were appreciated, and the warm blanket was a lovely touch—though I only came across it in the morning after a cooler night. Overall, a simple and functional place for a brief visit
The space felt a little on the cooler side, and the abundance of decorative elements made it feel somewhat busy. A more minimalistic approach—perhaps with lighter carpets and bed linens—could enhance the sense of freshness and cleanliness. Simplifying the design might bring out the natural charm of the place even more.
