Amazed with the interior and the 5* service: several heaters and blankets to make it comfy, a fridge (with various prepared breakfast items!), microwave, tea/coffee station, toaster, large TV, table, luggage rack... Better than many hotels! Couldn't make the wifi work at first but Amelia immediately offered to check it and even turned up the heat for us to come back to a warm room! If you need a last minute gift/souvenir, you can buy them displayed in the cabin as well! Full working bathroom, just need to work a little for ideal water temperature and not shower too long but that's easy especially when the comfy bathrobes wait for you right after.

The accommodation was pleasant for a short stay, ideal for a one-night stop while passing through Inverness. While it felt a bit overpriced for the overall offering, the hosts clearly made an effort to ensure guests are comfortable. The additional heating sources were appreciated, and the warm blanket was a lovely touch—though I only came across it in the morning after a cooler night. Overall, a simple and functional place for a brief visit
The space felt a little on the cooler side, and the abundance of decorative elements made it feel somewhat busy. A more minimalistic approach—perhaps with lighter carpets and bed linens—could enhance the sense of freshness and cleanliness. Simplifying the design might bring out the natural charm of the place even more.
