A bubble of coziness

I loved the shop shelves. It was full of local very cute items with price tags that we could purchase if wanted. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. As a foreign traveler, the adaptors available on site came in extremely handy.

I had a cup of tea in the morning but the included breakfast was not the type of things I usually eat in the morning. Though it was varied, I didn’t take anything.

Gorgeous cabin, very special.

The cabin was beautiful, comfortable and was equipped with absolutely everything you might need. Breakfast was varied and ample. Entry was easy and clear and there was ample parking

The shower was somewhat inconsistent and flitted between very hot and cold but we made it work and it didn't spoil the experience.

Nice but disappointed at the location

Very comfortable bed, great nights sleep in this bed as it has a weighed quilt and felt so comfortable. Handy to have a microwave and plates so no need to eat out. Lovely bowl of fresh fruit and the fridge had bread,milk,ham and yogurts plus cereal and jams etc.. Very warm on the day of arrival but a fan was provided.

Unfortunately the location is a residential road and the hut is up a gravel drive surrounded by residential properties and another hut is right next to this one so absolutely no privacy and no views anywhere as you are overlooked and if you open the blinds you are looking into the other hut or onto the flats opposite. Also didn't like the piles of stuff and Nik naks, there was a pot of random batteries, and oddities, selling keyrings on one shelve, Nik naks and pointless dust gathering things, out of dates leaflets and the smoke alarm wasn't in its holder on the ceiling. Their is a green exit light up sign that stays lit all night which was ok for me as I had an eye mask but annoying for hubby. Lastly the shower dial is on back to front, took an age and a burnt scalp to realise that it needed to point to (stop) to have a consistent temperature in the shower. They supply Lidl toiletries which is nice to have free toiletries to use but I would pop these in nice refillable containers which look nicer. The shower room has a damp smell as well. It was a lovely hut and we did enjoy our stay but it feels like an unfinished project and for what we paid compared to the other 12 stops around the nc500 I don't think it fits the price - sorry.

Great place to stay

The communication leading up to our stay was great and we liked where it was - very quiet. The cabin was very cute and we loved the generous breakfast supplies which made it a lot easier. The bed was very comfortable as well.

Minor detail for light sleepers - the blind for the window in the roof didn’t attach properly so the light came in very early

Loved our stay in this cozy, adorable gem.

It was a lovely place to stay on our way. It was super clean, and unexpectedly roomy inside. It was an adorable place for us as a couple to stay. The refrigerator was packed with wonderful choices for breakfast and was so appreciated. The bathroom was great and super clean. I appreciated this little gem that felt private and cozy, but right close to the places we wanted to go .Communication was great from owner.

Very different to other accommodation. Small, but perfectly formed and very roomy inside. Had everything we needed. Well equipped and plenty in the fridge for breakfast. Comfortable bed and hot shower - perfect. Very helpful host. Thank you.

Great quirky accommodation, everything needed for a 2 day stay. Good access to nearby town of Inverness. The host had made everything available for breakfast inside the cabin and fridge. Great stay.

Cabin situated in a small housing estate but easily accessible, only downside was no places available nearby for food unless wanting fast food, so plan ahead.

The hospitality included with the free food and drink stocked up in the fridge. The bed was so comfortable and it was a lovely surprise to walk in to the cabin and have so much room! We were amazed

The only downside was being able to get a taxi home to the cabin, no taxis were available at local taxi firms so we had to walk the 40-50minutes back
