Lovely brake to catch up with relitives .

This property was very good for our needs in the Highlands for taveling and seeing relatives in Inverness

I did not like the fact that you could not walk anyware upstairs without the noise of squeeking floorboards . this is my only complaint. Never met the hosts so have left that section blank

Nice place needs some improvements

The property was nice, the rooms were spacious. It is a good location. Also the house was nice and clean. The downside the beds were so uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a brick. We did buy a mattress topper to try and help but it barely scratched the surface. So we had a week of no sleep. We did request the use for a cot for our son but had no response so we had to improvise and buy some bumpers for the other bed to help keep him safe. The heating was okay just a bit out dated with the heaters that were there. The shower wasn't very powerful and you ran out of hot water if you tried to run a bath. So we had to wait until it got hot again before we could do any dishes. There wasn't any cleaning equipment as such there was one sponge for dishes and some washing up liquid. Other places we have stayed have provided extra things like disinfected spray extra bin bags etc. I can't comment on the hosts as I only had an email from them so can't say much else. If a little bit of money was spent like new mattresses and upgrading the shower to a power shower etc it would be better. I don't like to leave a negative review just some things that need improvement. Overall nice place just needs some TLC

trip to hell. scary and nosey neighbours.

all amenities and some toiletries available quiet when windows shut easy check in and check out amazing WiFi

no welcome pack no instructions. how to use the oven very cracking no privacy. the neighbour next door kept looking at us through the window pretending to take care of her dog. same neighbour verbally attacked the Deliveroo driver and my boyfriend for no apparent reason. house a bit old fashion with a funny old cologne smell. someone that called himself the owner came without warning of any sort when my friend was having a shower and I was on a zoom call. he accused us of obscene things including us having a party. well, hard to have a party with 2 people. I kicked him out as he was rude I felt that these people and this neighbourhood are not used to see foreigner. upon my departure (I left the last) the neighbour assaulted and insulted me (and had no problem me filming her ) saying she does not want to see people like “us” there anymore.

Comfortable house in a peaceful area

A very nice and quiet area. The house was clean, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had plenty of plates, glasses, cutlery, etc. It also had a good WiFi connection and a TV!

The house is a bit far from the town centre (we had no car and it's about a 40min walk). The machine in the shower was scary. The rooms had carpet flooring which isn't the most sanitary.

Cosy and warm welcome

It was perfect location for our needs. Norman replied quick for every inquiry we had. Pretty new kitchenette eg toaster, ketle, hob, cutlery and plates was provided. Plenty of hot water and heating at glance. Pleasant neighbours and alocated parking space for one car.

Upstairs floor was thin and you could hear every move from downstairs. Very cracking at all times, even for the smallest move. Also, the fridge wasn't powerful even put on the highest level.

Lovey place

Lovely quite area. Short drive to shopping and sort walk to dominoes. Was clean and tidy and there was enough milk for a cuppa when we arrived with was great as it was late when we got there. Also hosts made sure keys were at property for us to pick up as our arrival was after 8pm.

We found the beds a little uncomfortable

I was shocked at how shabby this was. So disappointing. Also shocked at owners attitude. Lied and said his other property was an upgrade. Photos are self explanatory. The one which looks like a dirty toilet is in fact the inside of the kettle.

Where do I start? Having to drive so far away to collect keys. Having a different property to one booked. Being conned that this got over 9 points. Seriously question validity of reviews. A disgrace. Shabby, tiny, comfort less and certainly not covid clean. Cobwebs, mould, see pictures. Oven. Washing machine. Kettle. Bathroom shower screen and tiles. Every one of six table mats dirty and stained. Shocking. No way was that cleaned to a high standard. Owner rude and unhelpful. He didn't agree. Said he wasn't worried as got over 9 in reviews. If I thought this was tiny, the other property smaller. It made me annoyed to think of the very high standards of over 9s,how hard people have to work to get that. Any positive reviews highly suspect!!! Took photos to show how shabby it is. Please avoid disappointment and choose elsewhere. It ruined our weekend.
