About this cottage rental

This ground floor annex is in the village of Scurlage near to Swansea and can sleep two people in one bedroom.

Granary Cottage is a lovely ground floor annex to the owners' home, situated in the village of Scurlage, close to Swansea in South Wales. The cottage can sleep two people in one double bedroom with en-suite shower, together with a family bathroom with roll-top bath. Also in the cottage is a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area. Outside is off road parking for one car and a stone paved seating area. Granary Cottage is a perfect place to stay for a romantic break, with plenty to see and do in the area.

Amenities: Oil central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Secure bike storage. Stone paved seating area. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 10 mins walk. Note: Parking is to the front, with access up a farm lane to the property entrance at the rear. Please note: bookings must start or end on a weekday as changeovers cannot be done on a Saturday or Sunday. Note: Fish and Chip shop in village is open Friday and Saturday in summer season only

Town: Scurlage is a small village, named after the family who built a fortified manor house, although none of the remains of ‘Scurlage Castle’ have survived. This little village is between the popular beachside villages of Rhossili and Port Eynon and is close to the fantastic beaches of the Gower Peninsula including Oxwich Bay.

Despite the weather snow and freezing temperatures we had a nice restful holiday at The Granary which is perfectly located to see all the beautiful places on the Gower peninsula. The cottage was cosy and ideal for a couple wanting a quiet restful time.
