Lovely bell tent with a great extra covered area in front for sitting, cooking etc.

Was quite noisy as it was 2 fields back from a busy road. The futon wasn’t very comfortable.

Absolutely stunning little set up! If you are a camper, youll appreciate all the extras and the comfort of a bed in a warm space! Great facilities, warm shower and loo with toilet roll/soap etc. As campers, we took wayyy to much! You can go with just a sleeping bag and clothes and be more than comfortable. So pretty in the evenings too with the lights, torches and lamps.in the tent too, even a little storage! Very simple but exactly as described. Ian and Celia were lovely and checked in a few times to make sure all was ok. They were great with the children too letting them feed the chickens!! Beautiful settings with a pond and woodland on site, loads of wildlife and bats in the evening too We read the reviews about noise etc but tbh there is more than enough birdsong amd beauty that you dont notice the road. Stunning beaches really close by too An absolutely wonderful place for a family get away without the chos of sitting in eachothers laps like commercial camping sites can be. Really relaxing and beautiful.

Comfier chairs for the outside, as someone with arthritis, I found it hard to sit on hard chairs but I know to bring my own next time, not a deal breaker :)

The chap, Ian, was very welcoming and friendly. The bell tent was large and had the basics you need. The site was quiet. Back to nature. The kitchen was great almost everything you would need. It was nice not having to pack everything as just about all you need is there… although we did end up sleeping on our airbed.

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, so warn and was thin in the middle resulting in a trough you just rolled into and then could feel the wooden slates of the futon frame on your back. There was only one female and one male toilet which despite there only being 4 tents you have to wait for the loo if someone got there first. (which isn’t great first thing in the morning) The sound of the traffic is constant! ( all night too) and noisy constantly rumbling of large lorries as its a very busy road. Freezing cold shower.
