About this campground/ rv resort rental
Rumenco , is a cosy converted horse lorry for two people, for a romantic break all year round, fully insulated with wood burner & self contained, off grid,
Set in its own private meadow located in bottom field, over looking the Preseli hills and the Pembrokeshire National Coastal Park. Minutes away from beaches, woodlands and remote hill walks. Close to lots of activities, dolphin watching, theatre, swimming, coasteering, etc., Main town Cardigan, with good shopping, galleries, castle and river.
Double bed with views leading onto a raised deck. Kitchen /dining area,with gas cooker,water,pots & pans ,cutlery provided, along with cool box.fold down table,bench seat, over head storage
Wood burner, Solar PV system which provides LED lighting as well as tea lights, modern caravan WC, enclosed inside lorry, out side covered steps/porch, for dog/wet boots/coats and recycling etc,
The lorry ;
(named after a large dapple grey horse I rode in France, was gentle and sure footed on the mountain passes looking down over cliff edges and tree tops) is a large 7.5 ton truck,with rubber recycled flooring and carpeted bedroom, retaining many original features.
Outside;
raised deck, patio,table & chairs, firepit, in own meadow to watch the wildlife foxies/hedgehogs, owls and other birds,or gaze at the night skies.
(An onsite fully insulated,green electric hot water shower, is situated on the organic small holding for all year round use, a wooded walk leads up to the shower.)

Me and my partner stayed 3 nights with our 3 dogs in the converterted horse lorry in its own meadow. It was the break away we needed. Thank you to Jane and Martin for proving such a pieceful place to relax and appreciate all the outdoor space all to our yourselves

Absolutely fantastic accommodation and really peaceful. The location is absolutely fantastic as well as there’s so much to do and see around especially if you’re willing to drive. Really cosy place to stay and fantastic for dogs!

Beautiful location for a simple eco week in a characterful converted horsebox. Very peaceful with beautiful views and plenty of personal space. Wonderful beaches nearby. Xx

I would like to say what a lovely couple Jane and Martin are however, we felt mislead by the photographs advertising this holiday.
The photos bear no resemblance to the current state of the site which is totally overgrown, this has happened over a number of years and not just a summer growth spurt.
We chose this site for our dogs, we were promised a private paddock that was fenced off, the paddock was so overgrown, we couldn't even walk in it and the grass was twice as tall as our dogs who wouldn't even go in there.
The views were obscured by overgrown trees so much so, we couldn't even see out of the kitchen window.
There were a number of other things that we were disappointed in and having sent an email to Jane and Martin, we did receive a geniune response replying to our feedback. Neverthe less, our holiday was definately not what it was advertised as. We felt awful having to raise our issues as we have never had a bad experience in a holiday let before this.
We appreciate that looking after a site is a massive undertaking for just one person, it would need constant management 7 days a week to keep on top of it and keep it tidy and well maintained which sadly, it is not.
We talked about leaving, and finding somewhere else to stay but stuck with it as we had paid in full.
The site is in a great location and we spent most of our time visiting the sights as there is plenty to do nearby.
We would not re-visit this particular site, but would go back to the area
