Regency Pyramids Hotel

This was my second stay at the Regency Pyramids Hotel. I had a room with a private balcony looking out at the pyramids. Same view from the balcony at the breakfast room. Breakfast for an Aussie was not that good. There is not much near there so I have breakfast and dinner included. The dinner choice and quality is fabulous. There is a Mobil service station nearby with ATMs for withdrawing EGP and soft drinks, snacks, even some toiletries. The staff at the hotel are one in a million and I was treated like a queen. Uber from the hotel does not work but the staff will get you a car to take you to places and you can use Uber to get back home. It is always the first week in July that I go there so some days are just spent in the lovely pool looking at the pyramids. There is a little kiosk for buying drinks, etc and three shops for souvenirs. I love the handbag shop.

Breakfast is really only Egyptian but I liked the fresh meats, cheeses and little sweet biscuits once I worked it all out.

- Location, View are amazing. Balcony with view on Pyramids is a dream come true - Rooms were clean and quite big, family room with two seperate rooms with a door and two bath rooms, so great for travelling with kids

- Breakfast is horrible, please fix it, bread dry, cheese old, no fresh pastries, why ruin the great impression with such a bad food, put less things but those fresh and buy a cooling device to keep cheese and meet fresh

Location, restaurants available and decoration. Great communication with staff.

I felt pressured to buy at the shops in front of lift when you came down. HOWEVER, after comparing the prices with the shops outside, they were cheaper.
