The staff (2 guys we met) were friendly but the hotel is not run as expected.
It has a snack shop close by and a lovely restaurant with really reasonably priced food.
We booked a superior family room. Not what we got.
The room should have had 2 double beds and a single bed and we ended up with 2 king beds for 5 people.
It didn’t have the “standout” fireplace it was supposed to have.
Toiletries consisted of 2 of the tiniest bottles ever and we have no idea what they were as there was no label on them - see pictures.
No bath which it was supposed to have.
No streaming service it was supposed to have.
No coffee maker it was advertised to have.
No dining area or garden view.
Our View was an alleyway - see photo.
It was super noisy all the time 24/7 with traffic and street noise.
No hairdryer as advertised
No slippers it was advertised to have and the room was not carpeted.
We were supplied with only 2 towels for 5 people.
Aside from the room not being what we paid for, we checked in on 25th and checked out on 29th. Not once did they empty the bins or make up the room in 4 days.
The bins were tiny too.
The breakfast which was included in the price was substandard compared to the picture advertised - see photo
Apparently there was a buffet breakfast somewhere in the “hotel” which was an additional USD$20pp.
The Breakfast which was included was delivered to the room. We requested this at 8am to work around tours and trips but it was always late and we had to go looking for it. One day it was 9am after asking where it was and the other day it was 8:30am and we had to ask that day too.
When booking tours, the hotel does not pop up on any google searches and tour guides couldn’t find us. We had to send drop pins on WhatsApp.
