The yard was exquisitely landscape. The home is AMAZING.
Because we rent in the basement suite, our (Bell) cellular service was non exsistant. So we needed to use the WiFi which was very very slow 0.54 mbps.

Avis is a warm and wonderful host
The accommodation is in a private and spacious one bedroom apartment on the lower level of her beautiful Japanese-like house. There is a zen garden outside the front door.The house is like something out of Architectural Digest. The location is in an upscale suburban location with tree-lined streets and close to a variety of cafes and restaurants. It is a quick drive to Granville Island and the city center.
I am a senior with bad arthritis, so I found the staggered steps from the street level gate to the apartment challenging
But for someone younger and more able-bodied than me, this rental is a rare find. My wife and I highly recommend it.
The steps. Esthetically nice but a challenge for the elderly or disabled.
