Green OceanView Relaxing Cottage

Such a gorgeous view. Very close to town. Enjoyed everything.

المكان هادى وجميل .. الموقع جميل قريب من المواقع السياحيه والبحيرات .. يبعد عن المطار قرابة نصف ساعه قريب من الخدمات .. يستحسن الوصول في وقت النهار للوصول بسهولة إلى الكوخ .. وجود مساحه كبيره للجلوس امام الكوخ

الموقع في الخرائط غير دقيق .. الوصول الى الكوخ يحتاج سياقه وحذر كبير .. المطبخ غير مجهز بكل الادوات .. يحتاج إلى المزيد من الاضاءة..

The location and the view is absolutely fantastic! Lots of privacy up there! We especially loved the view from the bedroom on the second floor. The check-in was very easy: although we came later than expected due to flight delay, the instructions were very good. Sete Cidades is closeby and within easy reach with a rental car. Good dining options in the village (5 min drive).

The access (last part) is a bit tricky (steep slope with a 180° turn in the midlle which needs a few back and forth--all between stone walls). Everything was well explained in advance so that we came prepared. But a small car is mandatory. The kitchen equipment is a bit minimalsitic, knifes are not very sharp. For 2 days OK though!

The view is incredible and the rental company very communicative. However, this ended up being a very negative experience.

I had read the reviews about the treacherous driveway, but felt like “nah - we can handle it”. However, it is TRULY SCARY. Super narrow, slippery stones, hairpin turn midway up. We opted to do it just once; left the rental car at the bottom overnight and came back next morning to the windows smashed in to steal a pair of sneakers. Obviously not the fault of the hosts, but potential renters should be aware. There was also a challenge checking in - we had to arrive at a very certain time, constricting the day’s activities. But, no one was there to meet us after waiting an hour. We had to reach out to a few different numbers with limited service. Eventually, we were instructed via text to find the hidden key, which could have happened at any hour. Waste of half a day. A lockbox would be much preferred. The country cottage is…country. If you are not okay with insects, ocean smell, etc perhaps another site would be better.
