When we arrived the studio apartment was very tired not inviting at all but clean. Shower cubicle seen better days. Kitchen work tops requires new we repacked car and left this place within fifteen minutes

Comfortable mattress. Lots of useful little extras - tea, coffee, milk, washing up liquid, shower gel.

Great little apartment

Everything you need (apart from microwave) for a self catering holiday. Close to Sainsbury's, town centre and beach. Great for the wife who can't manage stairs anymore.

Unsatisfactory!

The property is well kitted out kitchen wide, good range of cooking facilities etc. Comfortable beds and excellent location.

The property was ‘surface’ clean. Other than that it was dirty. Huge cobwebs above the bed and through the kitchen on the ceilings. Standing toilet roll holder was disgustingly rusty, really needs to be replaced. Before our stay we received a lengthy message from the host explaining how to dispose of our rubbish/waste. Different bags for different things, that we must comply or face a £75 fine. This information I believe should be included in the listing. Upon arrival my wife could smell dog mess, yes I had trodden in some of the huge piles left by the previous guest. An absolutely disgusting start to our trip. This should have been spotted by the housekeeping team and removed. The dog mess wasn’t clearly visible due to the poor state of the parking area. Overgrown, grass growing well into the gravelled area. Rose shoots hanging well into the tight parking spaces. The outdoor patio area was also over grown and dirty, too unsanitary to use. Such a shame as it would have been nice to eat outside. We also received a message from the host on our last day, asking us to strip our beds and sort out the towels from used and unused. This I find completely inappropriate. We, as a family always strip our beds and put towels in the bathroom out of courtesy. However, it’s the guest’s prerogative as to whether they do this. Guests should not be receiving messages asking them to carry out tasks that are the housekeeping team’s responsibility. We shared our feedback, both positive and negative to the host… but to no response. I find it discouraging that they will message you when THEY want something doing, but fail to do so when a guest raises concerns. I find it just plain rude and ignorant. Overall a sour taste left.

Good and bad

The apartment was lovely. Inside, it contained everything required to make it an enjoyable experience. The extras provided, milk, welshcakes, and bucks fizz were a nice touch and appreciated. The towels were nice quality, and the bed was comfortable. The flat was also lovely and clean.

The people upstairs were very noisy, especially late at night. As it's not a purpose built flat, the ceiling is basically just the joists of the upstairs room, so there is no noise barrier. The owner says there is parking space for 2 cars, shared with upstairs. There is NOT parking for 2 cars, and the car owned by upstairs was there for the duration of my stay, which meant I had to park elsewhere. The small enclosed garden area advertised is a useless piece of space. It was untidy, with overgrown vegetation that did not entice anyone to use it. It would be better to remove this area to make use for a second parking space.

A fab property on excellent location with a great host

The property has everything you need for an easy enjoyable stay ,its location is fab for leaving your vehicle parked and walking or using public transport to get around . The owner has great communication and genuinely cares about her guests. It is clean and comfortable and location feels safe and secure .

Bathroom needs updating Toilet roll holder very rusty Bathroom bin very rusty Black mould around shower seal Shower doors didn't shut properly Blue towels were bleach stained We got confused with waste as the information booklet was not in the apartment as shown in advert Freezer door dropped on my foot as that was broken with an explanation a new one was coming in 2 days We had to strip our own bed - what we are on holiday Very noisy from upstairs apartment so had distrupted sleep We won't stay here again

Simply perfect :)

The flat was super clean and well equipped, bed and sofa are both clean and comfy, bathroom was also well equipped and very clean. The owner was nice enough to leave us some welsh cakes and bottle of wine which is very sweet and they also left us a booklet either helpful info. Responses to messages were also very quick and helpful, would definitely recommend.

Tenby is lovely and would cost a fortune to stay if it was in Cornwall. Lovely beaches and bars and restaurants.

As described the property was perfect for our two night stay en route from Edinburgh to Cornwall - bit of a detour we acknowledge! Great location with parking, right near the sea front and busy bar and restaurant area. Very quiet over night.

No microwave which was a bit of a pain when we discovered all the restaurants seem to stop serving food at 9 and had to use the oven to cook a Tesco meal. Air fryer, but we don’t know how to use that!

Would stay again just a few things could be done

Everything you need there Hosts were very helpful when we ran into a problem with the cot was there in minutes to sort it

Wasn't to clean did have to wash thing before using like plates and glasses No duvet cover or pillow covers for sofa bed wich we did request before hand Matress very worn dipped alot in the middle but still okay for a night or two The bbq was full of rust wouldn't be able to use Definitely could do with a deep clean as a cleaner myself notice things that should be a daily job

Lovely apartment

3rd time here as it is great for the wife with wheelchair (it's all flat). Lou leaves little gifts which are very appreciated. Not far from centre and Sainsbury's. Onsite parking, but would not use if two cars are using it as you will need to shuffle to get out. Microwave would be a bonus, but in the end a nice apartment at a decent price !!

as described, some facilities were different in kitchen so they should be updated on page - air fryer, recycling requirements, etc.

couple of teething issues with tech but Lou and Phil couldn't have been more helpful to resolve this. Bit of decor maintenance needed above shower and in room. Doesn't bother me too much but others may.

Amazing

This was a self catering holiday but the location was so close to town it made the stay amazing. Would highly recommend staying here. I will be booking again.

We liked everything about our stay. Dog friendly, close to all local amenities. No need to drive anywhere. The walk to the beaches took 2 minutes.

The location was excellent. The kitchen was really well equipped and the bed was comfy. We especially liked the guest info book which had so much useful information on day trips and restaurants etc

The parking is shared with another apartment which we were pre warned, however the space is very small and would not be suitable if you have a bigger car
