This was one of the most amazing stays i’ve had. Me and my husband had the most incredible time. Maria was so helpful and had a warm welcoming smile 😊. The place had everything that we needed. The location was great, you had access to small shops and restaurants. The Garibaldi Port was 3 min walk and you can see it from the balcony. If i decide for a second Catania trip i will definitely be rebooking 4tino. Thank you for your hospitality Maria💗

The host was genuinely kind, welcoming, and very responsive throughout our stay. The room was clean, the Wi-Fi was strong, and I personally didn’t mind the location. Keep however in mind it is a very long walk from the Alibus coming from the airport with luggages if you are using public transit, more than 20 min on a very busy street

However, I was quite surprised to discover that this is actually a room in a two-bedroom apartment rather than a private apartment. The listing description is misleading. It says, “This double room has a balcony, toaster and kitchenware…”, which strongly suggests that the kitchen belongs to the room. Even after the host sent me a video before arrival, I was left with the impression that the kitchen was private. In reality, it is a tiny shared kitchen. We were extremely lucky that the second room was unoccupied during our stay. If it had been rented, it would have been a very different experience. The bedroom door is an old interior door with almost no sound insulation, so you hear everything from the shared areas. In addition, guests staying in the other bedroom have to walk through the small shared kitchen to access the bathroom, which is located beside the other room. This layout offers very little privacy for everyone. The bathroom also needs improvement. The shower head could not be properly mounted, making it difficult to shower comfortably, and the smell coming from the pipes was very unpleasant.

Close to the city center and Porta Garibaldi. Clean and comfortable, in area lot of shops, bars and restaurants
