How remote and peaceful it was. Had everything we needed.
That the hot tub wasn't ready when we got there (we didnt know) and then after we had food we wanted to jump in the jot tub to warm up and it was freezing cold and took 3 hours to warm up, very disappointed 😞 so we didnt get to use it.

Hot tub was great, only took around 2 hours to heat up enough to get in and we got a good 1+ hours in it before it got too hot.
The pod itself was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Nothing we didnt like really.
Only that the WiFi was a bit unstable at times.
And the steps could do with some small solar lights just so you can see the steps.

Cosy, nice views and very comfortable.
The fridge made food soggy and constantly water pooling on top, dripping off of it.

Beautiful cabin, extremely clean and great amenities.
The bed was rather uncomfortable but that is the only thing I didn’t like about the cabin, the area the farm is in isn’t the best, very run down and not much going on. But views are beautiful and can imagine in the warmer months will be much nicer

The property was easy to find. When we walked in it was immaculate and so cosy! The area is so scenic and beautiful. The people in the town were so friendly and welcoming. Amazing value for money will definitely be returning.
The only thing we noticed was the shower door would not close but this was a very minor inconvenience

The property was exactly as described and was such a wholesome stay. We had such an amazing time staying here in between Christmas and New Year with the wood fired hot tub and fire pit! The glamping pod 3, which we stayed in, has everything you could need from a small kitchen area to a table & chairs to a cosy little nook with fairy lights round the bed corner, so cute! The location is absolutely stunning in the valleys and great for walks straight from the pod and a good location to get to both Swansea & Cardiff and everything in between. Instructions from Fernhill Valley Farm up to our arrival & at checkout were very clear and helpful, literally can’t fault our stay at all…highly recommend!! A big thankyou to Fernhill Valley Farm for a lovely stay :))
Nothing, can’t fault our stay at all!

Was easy to find with the instructions given. Instructions on how to warm the hot tub up was very easy. Overall in general a lovely stay with lovely views. Also met some staff who were lovely. Would definitely come again and will recommend.
Only thing I could say was the heating wasn't to hot which I understand as we are in the middle of winter and it was very cold this weekend. And possible lights on the side of the lodge as we kept falling over the stones to get to the hot tub.

Location was lovely.
WiFi was non existent ended up using 30 gig of internet. Only had one arm chair so myself and the mrs had to take it in turns using the chair. Did ring Andrew the number we was given to get another chair but went straight to voicemail. Left a message but had no return call.

There wasn’t breakfast provided at the hut. Bit we loved the bed, shower was lovely and hot.
There could be more hooks to hang wet towels from hot tub and showering . The tv didn’t work , we had to connect via a friend, not ideal when remote but he did everything he could to rectify the issue, but didn’t work . We think the hot tub hadn’t been emptied , as it felt unpleasant and scummy on the floor after only one use

The view was lovely, we had a storm though but still managed a fire sat outside the first night. Lovely gift hamper on arrival with a bottle of wine and some Welsh cakes.

Location excellent. For walking the local areas.
Comfortable bed - well equipped kitchen. Views were outstanding. Extremely clean and the Welsh cakes and wine was very welcome - thank you. We would definitely stay again.
We loved the cabin but it could be useful to have another chair . TV and WiFi signal very poor but not sure if this is something that can be improved. We felt a little Lack of privacy from other units.

We stayed here for my daughters tenth birthday and it was honestly amazing! The views are breathtaking. My daughter and I both appreciated that everything was to hand to help get the jacuzzi started and we found the bottle of wine and Welsh cakes left for us a really sweet touch. Everything was perfect, the pod was immaculate and the bed with the towels was laid out beautifully, will definitely be coming back!

The fireplace made the whole stay extra cozy
The bathroom door opens/ closes with a little bit of difficulty, need to push hard for the door to close, but other than that, very pleasant, great experience.

We were greeted by two really friendly women / staff who were just in the maintenance shed next door. They were so helpful with tips on the hot tub set up, a real Welsh warm welcome in the valleys. Thank you. The Rhondda valleys is home to where my beloved late mother was from. The views of the mountains whilst in the hot tub on a starry night are wonderful. Learning that the hot tub water came from the mountain spring made it extra special and no smell of chemicals which you get in most tubs. You fill it before firing up the stove for heating the water so you have your own fresh water. Top tip is it took us 3 hours to get the water hot but it was very hot so we were glad we had filled the water to just over the height of the top jets (for safety for the tub) and this allowed us to add cold water to get it to a temperature we liked. The pod was very clean and the bed very comfy. The shower was nice and hot. The drive to the farm/pods is through the small town and don't be confused when you get to the bus turning point as per the instructions given you just go over the small bridge and eventually come to the pods. The valley is steeped in history as it was Fernhill colliery once.
On arrival the view can seem a little 'industrial' with the tractors and agricultural machinery and large building but the view from the pod doorway is the waterfall in the distance and the beautiful high mountains surrounding you.

The pod was unusual and very cute. More spacious than we expected. There was plenty of room, the kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. It was very clean and everything was provided. We loved the hot tub. The scenery was beautiful. It was very quiet and felt very private. It was easy to find and close to some lovely little shops and lovely walks. We had the best few days and most of the time we were close to the pod. It was a very romantic place to be. I totally recommend this wonderful little place!
There were a couple of minor things which didn’t really bother us. The water pressure was low and there was some vehicles working on the land early in the morning before 8am which was a mild bother.

Absolutely filthy , it was so dirty we had to leave and drive home . the chairs were absolutely black with filth to the point they look like they’ve been picked off the road side . big thing chunks of dust clumps in the bed . stained and dirty floor . think dust on blinds . many many cobwebs, dirty grime and think dust around the toilet , i tried not to look for anymore dirt. no one to contact late in the evening and when contacted host in the morning did not even apologise and sarcastically said they was confused i sent across photos that was then ignored . host was then rude and continued to gaslighting me saying it was exceptionally clean to a high standard and then lied saying i stained the floor and they need to make charges back when i was even their 5 minutes and was there on arrival . absolutely appalling worst place ive ever booked i only wish i took more photos to reflect the filth however i just had to get out of there .

The pod and hot tub area were well built, very clean and well lit looked very inviting. The views all around are stunning, rain or shine. We stayed at the site due to one child being sick but the rest of us really enjoyed the walks suggested by the owners. The owners were on hand when i needed assistance with hot tub fires! I feel much more confident now! They really made sure we had everything we needed.
Absolutely nothing can’t wait to return.

We stayed in pod 5 , july 4th-5th , unfortunately we didn't realise Oasis were in Cardiff that day so we ended up stuck in traffic and arrived late , we arrived , self check in , got the logs in the hot tub to warm it up , got the fire pit on and had a look round , absolutely gorgeous, really clean everything in perfect condition, the bed is the most comfortable bed ive ever slept in , pods are close together but we were not bothered by either side outside we could hear the hot tub bubbles and faint talking but nothing that would bother you , very private you cant see next door , once in the pod you cant hear anything outside , the view is absolutely gorgeous this is one of the best places ive ever stayed and I will absolutely be returning .
The fact Oasis were playing :0) if there is a big gig on allow time for getting there we lost 5 hours due to being stuck in traffic

The location was brilliant. Lovely walks nearby. The pod itself was comfortable, warm and well-appointed. Everything needed was provided. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus.

One night stay. The view was amazing. In a valley surrounded by plenty of beautiful greenery, and as it was drizzling there were plenty of waterfalls to spot. Kitchen was basic but more than enough to cook what we needed with a hot plate. Tv, table and bed with a little sofa in pod, and a fire pit outside with deck chairs to soak up the beautiful valley.
Not enough signs to show you were to go. But directions in email were spot on. Just a bit spooky driving over a bridge in the middle of nowhere. Watch out for the pot holes also. Enjoyable drive through the hills met with a beautiful secluded view once you arrive.

The pod had everything you needed, including tea/coffee/wine and Welsh’s cakes and was very clean. Very quiet and relaxing.
We had no WiFi so no TV. I emailed and text but they were undeliverable. We finally got the TV to work but could only get BBC1. The second (last) day we could not get any hot water so had to have cold showers, luckily we were leaving that day anyway. For the price it was disappointing. I was expecting a farm. It was full of unused vehicles, machinery and buildings. A bit of a mess to be honest.
