Cosy Room in Alcantara - Lisboa

I liked how they came in everyday to clean. Everything was quite nice and the AC was much needed at night.

I didn't like to share a bathroom with so many people but even then I never ran into anyone so it was fine.

I booked the room for a week as I was in Lisbon for work and its walking distance from the office, for my purpose, great location. The apartment is quiet, good for resting. Both room and bathroom were clean. The bed is very comfy. The attention and check in instructions are clear. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with no lift. Very common in Lisbon, but good to know if you have luggage.

If I can make a suggestion, put towel hanger in the bathroom and a support in the shower for our toiletries. Hot water in the bathroom tap would be lovely.

I stayed here for a few days, and overall the apartment and location were fine, but I had an unpleasant experience with the landlord. I received NO information about how to get into the building or the apartment itself in advance. I finally arrived and looked for contact information, called the number, but there was no answer. A man at a nearby store helped me by lending me his phone number with her WhatsApp number. The apartment is on the 5th floor with no elevator. The landlord gave me the code for the WRONG room, which was already occupied by someone else - the room contained personal belongings. It's a very funny situation, considering you can get robbed simply because the landlord mixed up the room numbers. The apartment itself is rated 7-8 because it needs some minor repairs, and the AC wasn't working, making the room feel like a sauna. However, I'm lowering the rating due to the landlord's disorganized attitude.
