The neighborhood is authentic and has a varied options for breakfast and dining. The place is clean.
I know from booking that the single room was windowless, so that wasn't a surprise. However, the room was stuffy, and it did not have ventilation, except for a noisy fan, which made sleeping difficult. There was no common area to sit and relax, so my choices were basically leave the hostel and come back really late to only sleep.
