Rustic vibes perfect for an adult hiking weekend
Rustic feeling and everything was very clean. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Easy to jump onto Mont Blanc and other hiking trails, 1.25 hours to Champex-Lac on foot. Owner very friendly, accessible, provided plenty of breakfast food and got all the things I requested, even the less ordinary items, which we appreciated. The only restaurant reachable by foot, Alpage de Plan l'Au, was sadly all booked up the whole weekend we stayed. Make sure to call and reserve this place in advance, the food and drinks and view looked amazing!
The place runs very cold, even in the summer, so make sure to bring warm clothes. For our group of 4 adult hikers seeking a city escape it was perfect, but the design of the house not so kid-friendly for other types of travelers. The check-in process was extremely complicated and time-consuming.

Checking is very complicated and you have limited electricity otherwise you will be charged and downstairs is damp smell very bad and this place is suitable for couple and two kids max three kids. Because nine people there is no space to your stuff. this is the picture of the place all the bed next to each other.

Absolutely not worth. Two very expensive uncomfortable nights.
Once booking is confirmed and paid surprises start to show up; the property is not insulated, there is a need to switch electrical heaters, but you will be charged for. Even with it on we were very cold. Terrible setting for children. Tiny garden by the woods-very unsafe for kids. Very expensive for what it is, not even a single sofa to sit and relax. No tv. Host money oriented. Paid over 350chf per night 2 adults and 4 kids, not even sheets provided. All in all horrible. For the same amount we could have stayed in the hotel in champex right by the lake.

Prachtige locatie, heel gezellig chalet. Echt een fijne plek om te verblijven voor zowel vriendengroep als familie. Ook heel fijn om je even terug te trekken als je wilt genieten van rust. Leuk balkon en heerlijke tuin achter het huis.

Chalet rustique idéal pour la randonnée
La disponibilité de l'hôte. Le nombre d'équipements mis à dispositions. Tout a été pensé pour nous faire passer un bon moment. Le cadre exceptionnel, la possibilité de faire plusieurs randonnées différentes en partance du chalet. Chalet rustique mignon.
Ce n'était pas un problème mais ça peut l'être pour d'autres. Chalet rustique = espace salle de bain à l'ancienne -> Douche au rez-de-chaussée, toilettes avec miroir et lavabo dans chambre du haut. Tout est propre et fonctionnel Pour 4 adultes c'était parfait. Si nous avions été plus, je ne sais pas si nous aurions appréciés car le toilette est dans une des chambres.

Un propriétaire bienveillant pour un chalet plein de charme et de confort !
Un lieu très agréable pour passer un séjour tranquille. La maison possède de nombreux équipements et la possibilité d'acheter de la nourriture. Le propriétaire répond toujours présent à nos messages, et est très agréable.
Dommage, nous sommes venus en période de pluie et de froid. Mais la maison est équipée d'un poêle à granulé à volonté.
