Chamonix Large Chalet, Sleeps 12, 200m2, 5 Bedroom, 4 Bathroom, Garden, Jacuzzi, Sauna

We really liked the warmth and comfort of the chalet, the excellent facilities (jacuzzi and sauna), the well-equipped kitchen, and the generous amount of space throughout.

While the place was overall very comfortable, cleanliness could have been slightly improved in some areas. The table service and glassware were good, though they could have been a bit more refined. Some beds felt a little firm.

You get what you see. The kitchen is big and very well suitable for big group (3 people were able to cook at same time!). Nicola was friendly and provided quick responses. All was explained in a sufficient manner. Thinking of returning. Would recommend.

The only thing is that perhaps it is time to change big frying pan. We were struggling with it. Had some fun, but still struggling. For accessing ski lifts, I recommend to have a car. However, ski bus can be accessed by foot as well.

Lovely place with nice communal area and plenty of space for everyone!

Sauna

The owner was intrusive. Kept showing up to do her personal laundry, while we rented the “entire chalet”. Then she told me laundry and the utility room “weren’t included” in the rental. The property listing CLEARLY said otherwise, and until I showed her a screenshot of the listing, it was a hassle, not to mention the inability to do OUR own laundry for over half the time. Poor and unprofessional. I confirmed we’ll in advance the hot tub would be available for use- it was, but they set it to “low” so it could never go over 98 (and as soon as you turn bubbles on and open lid, you lose a couple more degrees. Warm tub is a more appropriate description. No salting or sanding of the treacherous drive, and their personal stuff is everywhere- entire freezer chock full. Definitely unlike anything else I’d ever rented. It needs a deep cleaning and a massive thinning out and upgrading- particularly in the kitchen. Some things there were just flat out gross. Has potential, but fell short.

This chalet is completely equipped. It is actually a family house which is temporary rented. More airbnb style where a lot of personal stuff is still around. Kitchen is wel equipped and the Jacuzzi & BBQ were nice but need some technical fix. We really enjoyed all the sport activities in Chamonix and the table tennis at the terras.

We don't think 12 people would comfortably fit. One room for 4 downstairs has limited ventilation. For 6-8 it would work fine. Outside table can handle 12, but inside more max 8.

großzügiges Chalet, genügend Bäder für alle. Tolle zentrumsnahe Lage.

Wir mussten vom Spülmittel, Klopapier, Holz für das Feuer, Tabs für die Waschmaschiene, alles selber kaufen. Es waren sehr wenig Handtücher da. Die Bettmatratzen sind viel zu weich oder zu hart, keine gute Qualität. Sauberkeit in der Küche ist mäßig.
