We stayed 3 nights here after reading reviews about how good the location was and was such good value for money. All self catering apartments in chalet style. Minutes walk from town the train centre bus stops and attractions. We checked in and out outside of reception hours and was super simple. Very warm and toasty after a day in the cold. Would definitely recommend.

Cute and cozy suite in a beautiful setting. Our windows gave on the back side with the traffic of a road. Ok if it is not summer and you need to leave the windows open for cool air at night. One roll of toilet paper even if staying 6 nights. Had to demand for a second which they don’t usually do.

Overall this is a good property and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. It is a little tired inside however and could do with some updating. The appartement we stayed in was next to quite a busy road which made it noisy at times.

Stayed for 5 days and it is one of the best hotel stays we've had. Tge staff are very friendly and welcoming. The apartment was very clean, with all the amenities you'd need without having to eat out. Great location with scenic views all around.

Great location and very well equipped apartment, always warm and lots of hot water. Good ski boot room and storage. Small but perfectly formed. However there was someone else’s facecloth in the bathroom when we arrived. Also, after stripping the beds at the end of the stay (as requested) the blue mattress cover under our sheets was quite stained & it wasn’t from us.

We really enjoyed our stay. Good things were fabulous location, friendly reception, great balcony and view and good decor. Less keen on size, my son said he felt like Harry Potter living under the stairs (although he is a 6foot tall 13 year old), next time we would take the full 2 bedroom place. My daughter loved the top bunk ! It is a clever design but a bit like living on a boat. You slip past the person in the kitchen to get to the bedroom. We were there for a long weekend and it was warm enough to use the balcony but if there was 6 of you for a week it it would be very tight. The sofa bed was a quality one with thick mattress.

Our family of 2 adults and 4 kids (ages 4 to 13) just got back from a trip here. We are already planning to go back next year! The only downside was having to buy our own toilet paper after the first roll (not a big deal, just wish we would have known before we just got back from the grocery store). The location absolutely could not be beat! It was right by the train station where the Mer de Glacé train leaves from and within walking distance to everything we needed. Ski busses were very close by and convenient as well. The kitchen was very well equipped and even had things such as a toaster. Beds , pillows and comforters were very comfortable and the heat worked very well! We used toe indoor pool (which was a great temperature), and the steam rooms/saunas daily. Staff was very friendly and helpful and pointed us to the rental place right next door where we rented skis and also sleds. I have already recommended this property to friends.

I traveled with a 1.9 van and we had to park at another location but it was free so that was great. The receptionist gave us a lot of good suggestions and we were able to do a lot more activities because of the recommendations. The interior design is a bit old and somewhat small in the aspect that the rooms are small fitting. You also have to walk around 10min to get to the centre but train to Mer de glacier is right in front of the building.

The Ginabelle is in a very good location for the town centre, station and ski bus stops. The staff are welcoming and friendly, very helpful. The property is in a traditional alpine style spread across a few buildings. Reception area is really nice with seating area. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which was cosy, warm, it had everything we needed for our ski trip (3 of us) but it's fair to say the decor is a little dated and tired, the furniture and bathroom especially. In theory would sleep 6 but that would be a squeeze with 2 on a sofa bed + 2 separate bedrooms and a small bathroom. Would stay again as overall very good value for money.

Wonderful location. Great patisserie within a short walking distance. Our unit wasn't as clean as one would hope - dirty floor and dirty dishrag in the sink. Lighting in the unit lousy - lots of dark areas. Barebones amenities in the unit. Super location though!!

Liked the location - central but just out of the hustle and bustle. Staff were very friendly. Liked that the kitchen had an oven option. Disliked the charge for good wfi. Our top floor apartment was ackwardly laid out making it seem cramped, while our friends on a lower floor had a well laid out apartment.

5 of us stayed in a 6-man 2 bedroom apartment at Ginabelle for a week in January. The apartment was clean, comfortable and of an adequate size for 5 people, with a great mountain view balcony. Location is superb, a 3 min walk to the bus stop going to each of the ski areas, a 2 min walk from a fantastic boulangerie and a 5 min walk from the busy town centre. Services and amenities were all of a very high standard. Would definitely stay at Ginabelle again in the future, and for the week we were there the price and value were excellent.

It was a good stay overall but for a 2 minor issues! Wifi is terrible We had an issue with the power going out when cooking but they did fix it after the second time so all good. It is a cool place in a very good location and we really enjoyed the stay overall!

I read the reviews and knew I was booking a budget extended stay hotel. With that, I was happy with my stay. The price was good, and central location and indoor pool much appreciated. However, the hotel's website says it is a four star hotel. This is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a four star hotel. Building heat was not on most of the time, hot water for baths was limited, some corners and vents were built up with lint and grease. One of the beds had no sheets on it, there were empty salt and pepper shakers in the kitchen, and a filthy kettle. All minor stuff for a budget hotel, and it didn't bother me. But if I had gone by their website and thought I was booking four stars, I would've been so disappointed. Desk staff were all friendly and accommodating. We did enjoy our stay.

We had a fabulous family break, lovely, big apartment with great views, very easy short walk to the centre of chamonix & the ski area was very easily accessible from the apartment.

Some apartments face Mont Blanc, others do not. Some apartments have mould and smell dirty, others are OK. Toilets smelled of urine - maybe a French thing? Standard of kitchen and bathroom poor - they need updating. Green shower curtains, fridge not working, room facing busy road. They eventually put us in a better room. Worst thing is access to slopes is difficult - walk across two roads, a railway bridge, then wait for bus transfer to cable cars. There is not downhill ski access as quoted on Expedia website.

It is a convenient location. There is no room service. They only supply a towel per person for our 9 nights' stay and a garbage bag and 2 rolls of toilet paper. We have to buy our own supply. We even have to dump our garbage at the street's dumping site. The sofa is terrible - it keeps sliding down, very uncomfortable.

Great central location. Staff were helpful and knowledageable. Rooms were small but comfortable and had all necessary equipment. Nice chalet feel throughout. We were on the ground floor so didn't have a view of the beautiful mountains which was a bit disappointing.

Loved the layout and the facilities of the room. Amenities in the main building were very close for easy use. A little disappointed with the staff service who werent sure if the late checkout procedure. I was told.firstly there was a harge, then it was free, then received a text saying there was a charge. When i stayed at P&V property in Avoriaz last year, it was free. I payed for the safe and wasn't given the key. By the tjme i went back it wasnt worth it. Finally, i received a phone call in the afternoon of our last day saying that i was supposed to have checked out at 12. After i informed reception that i had paid the €50 (expensive) for the late check out, he said," Oh yes, i can see that know "Otherwise, very pleased with the accommodation.

This is not a premium place, it is old and tired. I had ussues getting a hairdryer so 2 kids with long hair having to go out in the cold with it wet. The kitchen light didn't work, the toilet smelled, The location is great and it was lovely and warm. Staff were very friendly once there but communication before arrival to try and book skis and lessons was very sporadic through expedia messaging.

This place is really rundown and unmaintained. Elevator was not working for 3 days and there was no one to help or even to complain to. Room carpets are from the 80s and had cigarette odor
