Downtown Napoli b&b - e si nun canto moro

Location was perfect, in the heart of Naples at walking distance from main attractions and restaurants, pizzerias and bars. Very nice and comfortable room. Very quiet despite being on a main road.

Modern and comfortable room with a bathroom in a flat in Naples' centre, close to the cathedral. Our room overlooked the interior courtyard, therefore rather quiet.

Apart from the check-in, not much contact with the owner. We would have appreciated some local tips and advice.

I had a really lovely stay in the heart of Naples, right on Via Duomo in the Centro Storico, an ideal location for exploring the city on foot. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and a large, well-equipped bathroom. I especially appreciated how well I slept — even though it’s so central, it felt calm and quiet at night. The entire property was very clean and thoughtfully put together, with a relaxed, welcoming feel throughout. I especially loved the terrace in the common area , a cozy, peaceful little spot overlooking a courtyard with trees. It’s a lovely place to enjoy your morning coffee or simply slow down for a moment during the day. And having good espresso and tea available is always a small detail that makes a difference. The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating, and shared great local recommendations, which made the stay even more enjoyable. He pointed me to Locanda del Grifo, where I had some of the best meals during my stay. Would absolutely stay again. .

Right in the heart of historical district, this B&B is a stone throw away from attractions and dining options. Although you can walk from the central train station on arrival, I used the metro (1 stop/€1.50) as I arrived late on the day that trains all over Italy was a chaos due to some technical issues and many got cancelled/diverted/delayed/re-routed etc. Alberto the manager is a cool, kind and generous man; and made my stay very comfortable. He is cool to waive the late check in fee (I suspect this is usually not collected even tho it was stated as a clause) and even let me leave my bulky luggage there for coupe of days when I went to Amalfi coast for the weekend. I was given room 4 and there was abit of an issue with the floor to ceiling window that opens to the Main Street and it seems I broke it when opened it the 2nd night. How a wee little person like me can break this window on the hinge baffles me BUT Alberto was really calm when he told me I have to compensate for the damage. The technician will be charging Alberto €70 for this and when I told Alberto I only had €30 left, he offered to pay the €40 out of his pocket. NOW whether was the window already messed up and I just happen to be the one to get it off its hinge or whatever, (I still cannot believe I torn the huge window off its hinge), I really appreciated Alberto’s manner in handling the situation (esp when his dad was just admitted to hospital and he was clearly distressed about that) - calm and not yelling…during this trip, I met with alot of gruff, grumpy and fierce Italians who was offhand and almost rude so I was relieved Alberto wasn’t one of them. The room is clean and the street of where the B&B is feels safe. This room came with breakfast which is a cappuccino and croissant in a cafe 2 doors down the street. Great value for what I paid
