We received a quick response from the host and they met us as soon as we arrived with keys, so very happy with communication and access. The host is just round the corner so if you need anything, they are more than happy to help. The place was clean and really modern (clearly recently renovated) so we loved staying there. It's small but more than sufficient for our needs. It's basically a modern studio in a local neighbourhood. It was in a really convenient place for what we needed and value for money was just unbeatable so we would stay here again without a problem, as the price was very attractive and for us, therefore worth more of a walk to the centre.
You have to remember that this accommodation is not very central so if you are looking for something in the centre this isn't for you, but we were very very happy as Porto is quite a hilly city no matter where you are. We would have liked to have some basic essentials in the kitchen to make things easier (Salt, pepper, vinegar, more oil, herbs, milk in the fridge....then shower gel, a couple of extra towels an iron, and some options to sweep/clean as were there for a few days and needed to cook and clean)
