Under Catswood

In a brilliant location with excellent facilities. Every room of the house has brilliant character and it was lovely waking up every morning to brilliant views and excellent walking routes. The kitchen utensils and crockery available really helped us as well.

absolutely stunning property, really stylish and modern, huge and extremely comfortable and well kitted out. The views were to die for, we spent hours stargazing, and the surrounding area was beautifully wooded. we walked to The Woolpack pub and back where we had one of the best seafood meals in a long time.

The house was kitted out with v high tech equipment, hard to fathom out in the short time we were there. It took me 3 hours to work out the stove wasn’t functioning, then 2 maintenance staff visited before realising it wasn’t a quick fix. we were supplied with a rather cumbersome over/ hob which almost set the cabinets slight so we didbt use it and ate oven based food for the rest of the stay. we couldn’t get one if the ovens to work and the microwave in the listing didn’t exist so cooking was stressful and we spent more on pre-prepared food than we should have. Additionally one toilet was broken. On the plus side maintenance staff were provided promptly, and were really good. I rather think we were unlucky. I do think it would be really helpful to have a typed up sheet explaining how to use kitchen equipment and lower the heating.
