It was so nice little touches like yea and coffee left for you when we arrived, all kitchen bits washing up liquid tea towel fresh bath towels for you too. The view was amazing to wake up to every morning. Car park is literally over a little stream. And well lit up when it’s dark from where you would park your car right up to the hut.
Nothing, maybe outside could do with being a little tidier and maybe an umbrella for the table but lovely still.

Small space, with everything that's needed.
No draining board / place to dry dishes.
Another tea-towel would have been better.

The hut is in absolutely gorgeous setting overlooking fields and greenery, completely secluded yet very easily accessible.
All amenities were 100% on point, got everything we needed.
Definitely recommended, would book again!

Superb location, warm and comfortable, well equipped, and beautifully decorated. Well lit at night. The full enclosure made it safe for our dogs and easy for us to relax.
The path leading up to the hut needs weeding, the description didn’t specify the need to walk up hill (though short) and the instructions for arrival were sparse meaning we were not aware of the need to drive up an unmade farm track nor the full details of the location, though this didn’t have an adverse impact on our stay it might have been difficult for someone with mobility issues

Lovely location and amazing views over the valley.
It was hard to find places to store things, especially fresh food in the fridge, but of course that's the nature of staying in a little Shepherd's Hut, so no fault of the owner!

Comfortable and secluded - just what we needed! It was also lovely to watch the bunnies and birds around the shed.
A bit hot during the heatwave but we kept doors and windows open with lights off until bedtime. The table fan helped alot!

The location was excellent nice walk and Pub straight from your door
No complaints it’s a shepherd top to expect it to be small. Only grip is somehow maybe there could’ve been a better fridge but not sure how.

Great location, really nice clean furnishings inside

Beautiful location . Great walks and nice pub not to far away .
Although the hut was quite charming at first it was annoyingly small for two people . You had to basically take it in turns to move about . It had a damp feeling and the bedding felt damp obviously due to the time of year . Felt it was overpriced.

The space is carefully designed so every inch is well used. The bed is comfy and the shower is hot. The location is so peaceful with lots of birds, squirrels and butterflies to watch. We did the Laurie Lee walking trail as per map provided in the hut. We went for dinner at the Woolpack which was very expensive and menu was a bit fussy - Check before you book.
DVD player didn’t work as stated on facilities and with no WiFi it would be useful in bad weather - we bought one especially and couldn’t watch it. Also a washing up sponge would have been helpful, hard to get stuff clean with just a cloth.

The quiet location and views.
The bed is a bit high for a short legged person.

it was just what we needed, it had everything there for us and the Gas BBQ was really useful as it saved us cooking in it as it is quite small, but for two nights it was perfect.
the Laurie Lee walk was great and the pub in the village was just ok but useful for a drink after a walk. The location was ideal for us.
these are only small things and not a criticism, the door window needed a blind over it as it was really bright on a summer’s morning, we hung a towel over it as it made us wake early.
Also the outside would be useful if it had some veranda to sit under whilst it rained and it would be more a useable space then.
My only niggle would be on the Monday morning we were woken up by the builders on the site down the hill building a new house. A few trucks and wagons and a constant bleeping, but once up and dress we went walking and avoided the noise. it can’t be helped but just be mindful of that.

We had 2 nights in Sophie's Shepherds hut. The view was amazing , we loved just to chill outside, having a glass of wine , listen the birds . The best place if you want just to rest in peace and quiet , the area as well very amazing , you could just walk miles and miles
The hut inside its very cosy , exactly like on pictures, our dog was very happy too
Thank you

Great location , quiet and lovely views .
Microwave in an awkward place to use and we couldn’t get it to work even after using the manual

The Hut is cute, cosy and well-equipped for a comfortable stay! The location is idyllic and set within an outstanding valley… you would never get bored of this view!
There are outstanding nature trail walks, pub down the road with great food and only a short drive to nearby Painswick, Stroud and even Cirencester for more sightseeing and exploring. We had the most perfect trip!
It totally exceeded my expectations, I’d never been to this part of the Cotswolds before or stayed in a Shepherds Hut, so ticked both boxes and will definitely be returning!
Sophie is on hand with tips and advice and was an amazing host!
Nothing not to like!
