Great Property and location.

Perfect Location, Comfortable Beds, House was clean and tidy. Kitchen had everything we required. The Christmas Decorations were a lovely touch

The TV Remote Barely Worked and Became Very Frustrating. The shower screen door also leaks when closed.

Had a lovely stay while visiting York with friends. The 3 bedrooms house was perfect for 2 families and 2 cars.

Good sized house in a quiet location close to the city centre. There was also plenty of parking and a few shops just round the corner.

A gorgeous home which made a great weekend in York more special. Lovely comfy beds

A beautifully decorated, comfortable home from home. A well stocked shop across the road and a nice quiet garden area at the back.

Only a niggle and it didn't spoil our stay at all, Could have a dishwasher but the kitchen is a little small. Perhaps the washer and dryer could go in the cupboard in the kitchen to make space for a dishwasher.

With a little extra detail this place could be a 5 star stay.

Stylish, good location, comfy seats. Very fast replying hosts, plenty of towels. Good bedroom facilities with hangers and lamps. Blinds good but not blackout. Quite area but not too far from town. Comfy beds, nice size bedrooms. Iron and board useful. Tea, coffee, sugar etc on site. Free Wi-Fi.

Overall clean and fresh but lots of items in the kitchen were still dirty (cups/cutlery/trays) lots of weeds in garden and animal poo on grass areas. Not enough toilet roll. Shower mouldy. Cutlery stained/rusty (teaspoons mostly) Dusty areas, especially bedroom lamps etc and cobwebs. Offer earlier check ins/out for additional costs. Loose floorboard on landing, feels like sinking. Blown double-glazed unit in lounge window. Random letter in kitchen drawer, could go into wrong hands. Our stay was lovely but I like to give honest opinions for people who would leave nasty reviews could skate the above :)

Good location for fun in York

good location. plenty of parking. nice decor and good kitchen

think the listing is wrong as said 4 bedrooms but there’s 3 with a sofa bed in the lounge. that was comfy enough but not what we’d expected

Exceptionally clean.

Exceptionally clean, and comfortable beds. I’ve put a few negative comments but please don’t let that put you off. The negative comments are only small niggles and didn’t affect the enjoyment of our stay.

Only three bedrooms not four! It wasn’t clear on the website that some sleeping was on the settee in the lounge. Personal choice - would have liked curtains at the windows rather than just blinds. Could have done with a leaflet on bus times and taxi numbers. Lovely shower but handle was stiff to turn on. No blinds on landing window, neighbour’s could have had a shock as I ran naked to the bathroom!!!!!

Very relaxing and comfortable place in York.

Once we sorted out the lockbox for the key everything went smoothly. The house was really nice and spacious and it was clean. The information book was very clear and easy to follow. It was a lovely place. The bus was very close by so that we could take it into town and not have to take our car. There was a nice place to sit in the backyard and the area was fairly quiet.

We were told that the office would be open til 8 pm on the day of our arrival if we needed to call for any reason, but when we arrived just a few minutes before 8 no one answered the phone, even though I had communicated earlier in the day that we would be arriving close to 8. The code for the lockbox was incorrect, the numbers were mixed up. Fortunately my husband was able to figure it out. Just a small suggestion: Maybe have some paper towels or napkins in the kitchen to use for small spills, etc. and a bit of laundry detergent for the washing machine. Also, a dishcloth would have been helpful for when we had to dry the dishes.

Gorgous house, perfect stay

The house is absolutely gorgeous and the sofa is mega comfy. It's the perfect size and space for a get away. The location was quiet and a quick drive to the centre. The beds are very comfy and I had a great night's sleep, the shower is amazing and the house is beautifully decorated. We also appreciated the cakes left for us and we couldn't reccomend staying here more.

Very good

House was lovely. Location was quite good.

There could have been a 2nd toilet downstairs. Couldn't get the TV to work properly and didn't have bbc or itv or c4. No instructions for central heating and feel there could have been some welcome toiletries. We also feel that check-in could have been earlier and check-out could have been later than 10. 12 woukd be a better time to vacate the property. Other than these issues we enjoyed our stay.
