Property was lovely everything thing we needed was on hand. Great location although had to travel back to Ambleside for few things we forgot butter and pepper as theirs was empty. Perfect for walks round the lake and the scenery was beautiful. Ample off road parking for 3 cars was a bonus. Weather was lovely so nice to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine.
We took our parents who are both in their 80's the step from extension to kitchen were very steep for them and needed assistance it also didn't help that it was black stepping down onto black. I had to put a tea towel on step so the could navigate the step better.The shower downstairs was impossible to turn on and off so tight my brother had to turn on and off for everyone needing a shower down stairs.
