This picturesque location in the Lake District National Park offers direct access from the doorstep to some of this area's most iconic walking, climbing and cycling routes. The Langdale Pikes, Crinkle Crags, Bow Fell, and the magnificent Scafell are perfect for anyone looking to reconnect with the great outdoors. Chapel Stile itself is a quaint Lakeland village set amidst stunning scenery within the Langdale Valley, just a stone's throw from the popular Ambleside, 5 miles away. Those who love life on the water can enjoy water sports opportunities or leisurely boat trips from nearby Windermere and Coniston, both of which are within 9 miles.
Kick off your shoes and hang up your coat in the boot room, the perfect spot for drying off after a day on the fells, before leading the way into the inviting split-level, beamed lounge. On the upper level, you'll find a cosy seating area complete with an electric fire that sets the scene for relaxation. The lower level offers more plush seating and a selection of local guidebooks that'll inspire you to get out and explore. Just off the lounge, the delightful farmhouse-style kitchen/diner enjoys beautifully rustic ceiling beams, as well as everything you need to get creative with your fabulous local produce. There are three bedrooms upstairs, with the king-size enjoying stunning fell views to wake up to and handy en-suite facilities. The double bedroom boasts more outstanding views across the fells, with the cosy twin bedroom providing a wonderfully peaceful spot to retire. A contemporary bathroom completes this cosy hideaway.
