Garden Villa

House was fine for the one night we stayed. Plenty of room, everything you'd need was clean and available.

Top floor bedroom was hot and hard to ventilate and cool down. Bring a sleeping mask because you can't close the blinds if you want the window open for fresh air. Showers are clean and adequate but are showing their age/use: a bit leaky from the shower head, slow to warm up and low water pressure.

The best thing about this property is the location. It is minutes away from everything. We had an event at the Showground and it was around a 10 minute commute. There were also several big supermarkets within 6 minutes drive. The next best thing is that the host responded promptly to important queries. This was so refreshingly different to other places we have stayed in before. The welcome pack was quite comprehensive and much appreciated. We loved the kitchen set up. There was a breakfast bar and stools opposite the hob/sink. It was so easy to cook, serve and wash up. Almost everything we needed was provided. The garden looked beautiful although we never got the time to use it due to the busy Showground schedule.

The fridge, freezer and oven could do with a deep clean. Maybe the party before us had stuff that leaked / didn't clean up after themselves, but that should have been checked and rectified between rentals. The downstairs sofabed wasn't made up before our arrival. Although there was fresh bedding stored within in, we couldn't work out how to make it up, so it ended up being used as a spare single bed during the day when my old legs couldn't manage 2 flights of stairs to the loft room. The downstairs shower drain was a bit slow.

Size, lots of space for people to have their own zone.

Kitchen utensils, pots & pans could have been better in better stock.

The owner was very nice and accommodating. The house itself was amazing such a lot of room. Garden was amazing too

Was very dirty, wife deep cleaned the whole house that was the main issue. Lock didn't work on the downstairs bathroom. Would be amazing if you had more sofas just felt like there wasn't much option to sit down unless it was at the dining room table
