Garden Villa

The property had lots to offer a group like ours. Adults & children. And was idea for our visit, seeing family who already live in the area. The property had lots of extra things to make it feel homely. David the manager always responded to any enquiries we had.

More attention to certain areas that needed a closer eye for cleaning. But other than that, all good.

The property is misleading from its surroundings and is beautiful inside. Plenty of room to be able to host several adults. There are loads of board games, great kitchen equipment including a ninja air fryer. The property was safe and secure.

Could do with more tea bags and a jar of coffee provided rather than a few sachets.

We stayed 1 night at the garden villa to host our colour party for myself and 5 friends the house was plenty big enough with enough beds for everyone. Instructions to access the house from the host was easy and straightforward as well as the directions to get there . The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need a real home from home would definitely recommend.

Good sized kitchen, dining room and sunny garden. Short walk to town. Plenty of bed space Easy parking.

The location was good 20 minute walk into Stafford. A nice house for a larger group.

I had read good reviews about Garden Villa but I'm afraid we didn't get to experience that. Upon entering, it was clear straight away it had not been cleaned. There was a strange smell bits on the floor including food, food in the sink and a razor left in the bathroom. No proper bedding for the sofabed and the mattress in the room upstairs was shocking it was just a mass of broken springs you were not able to sleep on it at all. The duvets were very very thin. I did text the owner as it is only fair before writing a negative review however I received a 6 word response, which didn't include an apology. To top it all off, half the party have come home with a bug which seeing how unclean it was is no surprise.

THE PROPERTY IS ALLOT BIGGER THAN IT LOOKS FROM THE PHOTOS. LARGE KITCHEN DINING AREA WITH A DOWN STAIRS TOILET AND SHOWER. REALLY NICE GARDEN. THERE WERE LOADS OF ACTIVITIES FOR THE CHILDREN BOARD GAMES, DARTS, BLACK BOARDS, PLAY HOUSE IN THE GARDEN. THE BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE. HAD A BATHROOM/SHOWER UPSTAIRS. THE MASTER BEDROOM NICE AND SPACIOUS. THEY HAD TV IN EVERY ROOM.

THERE WERE ONLY 3 MUGS FOR HOT DRINKS, PLENTY OF GLASSES. I DID HAVE TO GET TEA BAGS, MILK & SUGAR.

Shame the hot tub area had no hot tub!? Haha, no there wasnt anything bad.

It was a great space, it more than met our groups needs.

Small fridge was the only minor issue.

Very clean and welcome pack of bread milk etc.

The attic room - the mattress in the bed was terrible. Springs popping up all over. They need a new mattress.

House was clean, spacious and set up for multiple ages including a dartboard and a magnet dartboard so the children could play too. Essentials left for us including bread, butter, milk and toilet roll were very welcome as it meant we didn't need to rush straight back out to a supermarket. The garden was well fenced and the Wendy house has an abundance of toys that kept the children occupied for hours. The bedding and towels were all presented in lovely bow tied packs which was again extremely useful as there were 7 of us in total to spread across the multiple beds and this allowed us to do so with ease. The team communicated with us well in the lead up to our trip, and also once we had left and they had gone in to turn it around which was a lovely touch. We will definitely be booking again as it was everything we needed as our base for 3 days at Alton Towers.

There is nothing to say here, everything was exactly as we had hoped.

Host was exceptional. There was bread, butter, coffee, tea, sugar, jam, marmalade and orange left in the house by the host for us to use. Plenty of entertainment to utilise such as darts, smart TV, board games. we were a group of 9 adults who stayed comfortably in the accommodation. Fans in every room which was great as meant everyone could sleep well. The list of positives is endless. would love to return for longer next time.

a lot of the guests found that the dust in the air set off their allergies/asthma. The house wasn't visibly dusty or unclean and was only really detectable by those who were allergic and asthmatic.
