The apartement has evident problems of water infiltration

The apartment Is nicely located

Several walls in the apartment exhibit signs of excessive moisture, including staining and surface deterioration. As a consequence that apartmentvresulted to be smelly. The couch One of US was supposed to sleep on was wet.

A great town and a good spot to stay.

Very roomy. Lovely wood in the decor. Great restaurant next door. Well equipped. When I had a difficulty with the washing machine, staff were very responsive. Great view of the Adriatic right across the road.

It was a bit noisy from busses going by just outside the window. Quite steep stairs between the bedroom and the bathroom would make it not a good choice for those less able.

Good location and Comfortable Apartment in downtown Piran

This is an apartment style accommodation that met our desired location, and level of cleanliness and comfort. The apartment is on the older side but had everything we needed. It has a kitchen and washer (even though we didn't need them) and a well working A/C unit. We loved the location! We had a car and parked at the garage (as this unit does not have parking which I believe is the same with any place in the old town area) that was just up the hill and a relatively short walk. We were also within close walking distance to all the restaurants and sites in Piran. And just across the street was a small beach area that we used and that was very convenient. While the apartment is on the main road and therefore you can hear the traffic, the bedroom is in the back and we had no problem sleeping there. One of us slept on the futon in the living room where you could hear traffic but this person is a heavy sleeper and said it didn't bother him. But if you are light sleeper that may be a consideration. The beds and the futon/sofa were very comfortable.

The only issue was with the bathroom. It was very spacious but they need to get a new/different shower curtain or add a long liner. The shower curtain was too short and it allowed the water to splash all over the floor and got quite wet which could be dangerous for slipping especially since the tub is very tall and difficult to get in and out of for shorter people. The towels were also pretty rough and so they should provide newer ones and possibly more of them to clean up the water. It was a relatively big issue for us, but something they could easily fix.

Great place to stay in Piran

This is a great apartment in Piran and I would highly recommend it. Despite being located on the main floor, it was very quiet and the apartment itself was very comfortable and well-appointed. Also, the wifi was excellent and the bathroom facilities very good as well. The host was friendly and helpful. Finally, the location across the street from the seaside and just a short walk from the historic centre of Piran made it very easy to get around and enjoy the area.

I have no complaints. Everything about this apartment met or exceeded my expectations. While the price was on the high side, it was definitely in line with other similar accommodation in the area. I would stay here again.

Very nice and picturesque.

Location and size of the apartment is great. They even had a washing machine. The owners asked to call them about 1 hour before you arrive. I sent a text and didn’t notice that it didn’t go through. But when I arrived they still reacted quickly and came soon. In the meantime I could leave my luggage with the adjacent restaurant and parked my car as advised in the parking garage about half a mile away. A local bus brought me back.

I knew that the parking garage is pretty expensive with Euro 29 per day. When I left the apartment I walked all the way to the parked car which turned out to be a nice walk on the ocean promenade, an area I didn’t really notice when I went sightseeing the town.

Stinky and uncomfortable, needs to be updated and aired out.

Only real positive is it’s in Piran. Its about as far as you can be from the center tho. Owners didn’t budge at all on late checkout, but held my bags for a few hours at least.

The place was rundown and muggy. Bathroom smelled really bad. Beds are upstairs and the AC does not actually reach there (just a small unit in the living room), so it was quite hot. Nothing about the place was comfortable. The owners were cold and not super accommodating. Washing machine provided but no detergent, which is inconvenient when the stores close early.

Superb

The host was wonderful and very helpful. You can walk across the street and swim. Restaurant attached to hotel was excellent. The apartment is about a 5 minute walk from the parking area. You can drive in to the apartment to drop off your luggage. The back bedroom is quiet. If you need to use the sofa bed you are on the street side of the building. I would recommend this place for 2 adults unless you are on a tight budget. It works fine for 4 adults if you do not spend a lot of time in the apartment. You can hangout outside by just walking across the street.

Very kind owner, very near to the beach.

Apartment is practically on the street as it would be a shop or an office. There is literally no window, only the side wing of the entrance door, if you open it every single pedestrian walking in front of the door looks inside to your room. Extremely noisy as in every minute several cars buses and scooters are driving in front of your door in a distance of 1-1,5m. The door itself has seen better days 15 - 20 years ago when it was new and it had surely better sound insulating properties than today because today it has nothing as such. The whole interior makes a very used impression, maybe it was kind when it was new but today it is very outdated and worn. The bed room is a chamber, it does not deserve the name "room". All in all I did not like the apartment, it looked far better on the photos ( I had the feeling during my whole stay I did not reserve the same apartment, there must be a cheat or something similar as I coudn't be that superficial that I booked such a bad thing I still do think there is a chance that we got a different apartment nt the one I've booked ). In the description it is mentioned car parking is availabe, in fact it not available but it is a MUST. A cost you can't avoid as you cant leave the car anywhere free within 1,5 km or more. The city is closed if you enter with your car you pay for every hour a hefty fee. Or you choose the garage where you can park for 10EUR per night. 3 nights costs 4 nights also an interesting calculation method, always add one day to the nights your car spent in the garage. The lady in the restaurant was very kind and the food was really delicious but the apartment was very weak, next time I will be very careful not to make a similar failure.

Fantastic place, excellent value, nice owners

Great apartment. We were 2, but it'd be fine for 4. Very nice double bed in the bedroom, very comfortable double sofabed in the living room. 5 mins walking to the centre. Very good value. Kitchen had more stuff than my own flat. Cafe Neptune 200 metres away for breakfast coffee and croissant, about 4 euros. Don't bother getting the bus from the car park, just walk as it's easier and takes 5 minutes. Be careful, only Resident parking is at the bottom of the hill into the town next to a Cafe Piranacek. If you are here, you are in the wrong place. Parking (10 e a day via Pri Mari) is back up the hill 250 mtr and is called Hisa. Do not even attempt to find another parking place, there is no point.

One minor thing was the WiFi was very weak and often didn't work. We had data, so not a major thing, but with kids it would be

Superb

Location is great except for early morning traffic, which is unavoidable. It's close to everything I needed, especially so close to sea, cafe and bus station. We used bedroom and sofa bed in living space. I believe the bedroom was the best option. Interesting having a window so close to the sheer rock of the hill behind, it added an interesting feature. Owners were solicitous for our comfort, friendly, and helpful but not at all invasive. Nothing is far away in Piran, but this was a great location.

I totally recommend - perfect apartment, parking a bit complex because of Piran parking policy

I really enjoyed the apartment and its size. It was perfect having a bedroom, a kitchen and a living room with a big sofa. I felt as if I were at home. The host (who works in the restaurant close by) was very friendly, as well as her colleague. They kindly answered all of my questions and were willing to help so that my stay was fine.

For the apartment itself, everything was fine. The only thing that I thought a little complex was the fact that if you come by car, you have to let the car at a 7-floor garage which is at the entrance of Piran (cars are not allowed to stay for more than 15 minutes in Piran itself). So that you have enter Piran by car, take a 15-minute ticket, get your key, put the luggage in the apartment and quickly drive back to the garage at the entrance of Piran. Except for that, everything was perfect by me.
