This was a dream escape to recharge and Escape Ordinary delivered all that it promised and more.

Very well maintained, loved the hello sausages mugs and kitchen. All very tasteful and a lot of light and the views were breathtaking.

The place was beautiful, beds were comfortable, the views breathe taking and the staff even called on Boxing Day with a lovely message, sweets and a bottle of baileys which I just thought was thoughtful! We would definitely stay here again and plan on doing so!

The location is fabulous, a little overlooked but other properties. the property is lovely an spacious with a fabualous hot tube over looking the lake. The views from the house are also fabulous, even on a wet windy day.

The beds could have been more comfortable in one of the rooms. double room beds too soft. Limited sizes of sausapans that worked on the induction hob.

A beautiful lakeside stay with everything you need for a relaxing and fun-filled weekend with family

We stayed at Lily's Pad for a weekend getaway with my mum and sisters and had such a lovely time. The house is fab – spacious, stylish and right on the lake, with beautiful views that made it feel really special. The hot tub was a brilliant bonus, and we made great use of the large dining table and well-equipped kitchen to cook and eat together. The beds were really comfy, everything was spotless, and the living room was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. We also enjoyed paddle boarding and trail walks at Castle Archdale, which is just a mile away – a brilliant spot for outdoor activities and exploring the local area. The host was fantastic – super responsive and helpful, always replying within minutes. We’d definitely stay again. Next time, we might book both Lily’s Pad and Ernie’s Den together – they’re side by side and would be ideal for a bigger family gathering.

One small thing to note: the Booking.com listing has a mix of photos from both Lily's pad and Ernie's den, which can be a bit confusing, so it would be clearer to only show pictures of the house you’re booking. We did notice a few flies in the house – likely because of the lake – but that’s to be expected in such a scenic setting. A few extra toiletries like shampoo and shower gel would have been appreciated – the hotel-sized bottles were quite small for a group stay – but that’s a minor thing in what was otherwise a brilliant trip.

Lovely modern house, quiet getaway, perfect for family trip!

We had a great family stay here. The property is lovely. Perfect, remote location right on the water with stunning views. Everything inside was very modern and decorated lovely. Log fire in the living room is very cosy. Hot tub was great. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and supplies (tea/coffee etc.). Would love to go back for another visit.

Were a bit disappionted in the outside seating being covered in bird poo, the cushions had been left out with no cover etc. so was inevitably going to happen, one cushion was also missing from the sofa (never received replacement). The two heaters I'd seen in the photos weren't there so I had to call the owner, they sent housekeeping who found one in storage and had to drive to get the gas for it. Could have been better prepared but were glad to have at least one. No blind in the main bathroom, we hung a towel in the window for some privacy from main path. No tea towel or dishwater tabs available to us. The property listing for said 4 bedrooms, but is only 3 bedrooms, wasn't an issue for our booking but could have been a hassle had we not noticed until we got there. Think the ad/pictures is combined with the property next door (not clear which one you're booking).

My Sons birthday weekend.

Beautiful surroundings, right on the lake. Countryside location, so quiet and peaceful. Stunning modern house with on suite bathrooms in the three bedrooms. Really clean throughout and bedsheets fresh and beds comfortable. Hot tub was amazing. 15 mins drive to Enniskillen.

A private paradise

The remote location on the edge of lower lough erne allows a little slice of private paradise. Enjoying evenings in the covered hot tub staring out at the wildlife nature reserve, playing cards and having a drink in the bar, warming up by the wood burning stove after a walk - it truly is a luxury stay. The house is spacious, comfortable and the hosts have thought about the little details such as Alexa’s in each room, smart tvs, advanced heating, toiletries, plenty of towels and it’s kid friendly. The house had a high chair, travel cot, bed stoppers, kid friendly plate, bows, cutlery and cups which meant it was the perfect option for us.

We only had a little snag about the lighting in the bar flickering and the hosts messaged us each day to ensure our stay was comfortable so it was a quick fix. I will say it was disappointing to not have a welcome basket included in the price with basics such as butter or milk - this would have tipped the score to a 10/10 for us.

Beautiful location, so peaceful and quiet. The hot tub overlooking the lough was amazing.

Building site next door would be concerned if I booked and construction was taking place fortunately it wasn’t whilst we were there.

Beautiful location looking onto lough. House was immaculate inside and very cosy with everything you could possibly need. Enjoyed hot tub and lots of seating outside. Short walk down to private jetty. Superb!

Cleanliness outside when we arrived...lot of bird poo on front and back step. Difficult to find brushes etc to clean it up. However as there were about 8 bird nests around the house we realised how difficult it is to keep clean ...needs at least twice daily clean. When birds leave there will be no issue!

The location was fantastic, beautiful house decorated to a higher standard required for a holiday let.

No welcome pack, or instructions for appliances within the house (cooker., oven, hottub) Well equipped kitchen, but would benefit from new saucepans (everything stuck) and a casserole dish for group dining. We ended up going to Asda to buy one as we'd planned a curry night for one of the evenings. But it had lots of equipment we'd never found in a holiday home kitchen before, beautiful dinnerware.

We had very good stay relaxing in the house with up to date facilities, outside a hot tub and views.

The location was good on the edge of the Lough. With access down to the Lough. It would have been good if there was a walk along the side of the Lough but understand why there was not. There looked like a path but was not sure if we could use it as it was at the rear of other properties

There was no negatives. The only thing missing was tea towels and a small towel in the kitchen. Just to bring it to your notice, in the bedroom with two beds there was a faulty plug in the bedside light and it would have been better if there was small bedside tables.
