A beautiful and peaceful haven for people and dogs 8

The house was a very good standard and warm and cosy when needed. All rooms were of a brilliant size. The showers were fabulous and the kitchen was good. As 2 of us really enjoy cooking, we missed items such as good kitchen knives, blenders and scissors etc. Having crockery and cutlery for only 4 place settings resulted in more use of a half filled dishwasher but that was minor as we all loved the location. It was dog friendly location and the courtyard was really pretty especially at night

Relaxing in Fermanagh

This was our second time to stay. The location is lovely, even during a cold week in January and a short drive to the town of Enniskillen with a good selection of places to eat. The property itself was spotless and comfortable with everything we needed. It was also very quiet being on the edge of the Lough Erne resort. We were able to use the facilities at the hotel and enjoyed walking at the National Trust properties in the area. The famous Cuilcagh Boardwalk was closed due to icy conditions so a good excuse to come back for our third visit. Would definitely recommend this property

We brought our own throws for the evening so we could relax in front of the TV but that is just our personal preference! Everything was lovely

Functional - beautiful surroundings but if you list something for 6 please make sure it is equipped for to 6 people !

Good location

Not enough crockery, cutlery glasses bowls for 6 people it was listed as being for Hot water only enough for 2 showers everyone else had cold showers The beds were made up as two doubles - we are two parents and three teenage children - there was no extra bedding to convert the double into twins - we borrowed extra bedding from local relatives due to there being no way to contact anyone on arrival - there is no way to contact anyone out of hours !

The location was beautiful and the size of the 3 bedroom property we stayed in was very spacious and well decorated.

Welcoming, warm retreat

The house was really lovely, warm, bright, lots of space and lovely grounds. We were there in bad weather so could not make use of the gardens but they looked lovely, plenty of seating etc and very peaceful. The house was very well equipped, lovely walks available down into the resort itself. The beds were very comfortable, lovely big bedrooms and everywhere was very clean etc. You would need to have a car though if you plan on seeing Enniskillen, as you do need to drive to get there. Lots to do if you were there in summer, although we can recommend the boat trips to Devenish Island - great views, lots of information on the area, history etc. Will stay again in in the area. Very well put together App that give lots of information in advance about the property, the area and places to eat etc.

From the time I booked and spoke to Ann, she could not do enough for us. She gave us numbers for taxis, and I phoned Ann with so many questions bless her and she answered them. Ann was absolutely amazing she went above and beyond.

The houses were absolutely fabulous the grounds everything above that place was stunning I would recommend it to everyone

A pleasant stay at a fantastic resort. Comfy and convenient for visiting the surrounding areas

Was exactly what we needed for a family get together. Rooms were big enough for 8-10 sharing. It was easy to check-in and hassle free. The hosts were always at the end of the phone/text to answer or sort queries. All-in-all we had a good time at Castle Hume.

Incidentals like shower doors wobbly or cobwebs/stains or broken beds when you arrive. Also, our view when sitting out the front in the mornings was a rather untidy skip…. Or everyone ditching their rubbish in the bins beside the house. For this price range, I’d hope for a little extra, there could be extras included that would make it stand out! For example, a welcome basket with some small tokens like milk, bread or biscuits/ chocolate type bits. Small efforts make you forget the extra costs! We stayed for the week and there was no hoover to tidy up after kids crumbs etc…Asking the right cleaner soon sorted this though!

Very comfortable for a relaxing and restful weekend

Very clean and comfortable. Very quiet, which is what we were looking for - although we enjoyed a walk around the busier parts of the resort in the evening. We appreciated being able to bring our dog for a small additional charge. Great communication from the hosts and a great location for exploring Fermanagh.

Exceptional accommodation in a beautiful, peaceful location.

We had booked two houses and they were furnished and equipped to a very high standard. There were TVs in all the bedrooms as well as the living room. The inner courtyard area was beautifully laid out and maintained. The location within the Lough Erne resort was amazing. There were lovely walks through the golf course, with stunning views over the Lough. Enniskillen was just a short drive away.

A good property in a lovely location with great safe play area, a sure hit for anyone holidaying with children.

A very well presented property, spacious and two large bedrooms. The outdoor communal garden space was excellent, providing a great area to play and interact with other guests, also allowing our child a safe place to play and make friends.

There’s not much to say here as the property was well maintained and presented. A few small details; the sofa wasn’t of the same standard as the rest of the property and felt like the end arms might come away without much effort.

Lovely relaxing stay in perfect location

The property was great - clean, comfortable, spacious and very well equipped. It’s in a lovely quiet location in the grounds of Lough Erne resort with parking available right in front of the door. We loved the courtyard area at the back and being able to walk round the lovely grounds overlooking the Lough. It’s also in an ideal location for travelling around the local area. For the price it is really good value for money. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay and were wishing we could have stayed longer! Anne from the team was very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the patio area was inaccessible when we arrived as there was work being done, which was a bit inconvenient with the weather being so lovely. However, we did manage to sit out there on the second night. Also just a minor point, the only bin upstairs was in the en-suite. It would be useful to have another one in the main bathroom for the guests in the other 2 bedrooms.

A relaxing stay

The house in Castle Hume Court was fantastic, modern but comfortable, and in an ideal location for travelling around the local area. We stayed in house 19 and It had everything you could need. The staff we came into contact with were friendly and always willing to help. For the price it is really good value for money.

A lovely recuperation from a horrid surprise medical emergency whilst on holiday.

The proximity to green open spaces, walks, Enniskillen , the lovely garden to sit in, the peace and quiet. Anne of the Escape Ordinary Team, was empathetic, kind and caring to us, which made a difference. Thanks Anne!
