I loved the location, very close to the amenities and bus stops

I didnt like that as it was school holidays, and the the pub "The Den" was closed on the evening...I know it isn't run by the holiday park, but there where alot of families that just wanted to have a drink on-site...definitely a let down for me

Very good

We came with children. It's a super clean, quiet place where you can truly relax. The beach and shops are nearby. Fishing is possible. The staff is very friendly. We will definitely be back next year. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic stay, a lovely chilled relaxing time away!

2 adults 2 children (10&13) have stayed in the pods three times, each time has been fantastic. Staff are genuinely lovely and the pod is clean. Couldn’t fault anything and we will definitely be back soon.

Nice but definitely not peaceful

The pod was great, really spacious and well thought out. Outside space was lovely and a sun trap all day. It was clean and comfortable in a good location.

We went to eat in the Den on site and sat at a table that was awaiting cleaning. We sat for around 20 mins and no one came to clean so ended up asking for a cloth and was handed one. They should have offered to clean it. The family in the pod next door were really noisy and let their kids run about screaming in front of our pod so we didn't get the peaceful weekend we had hoped for. Also there was a singer on in The Den but it was so loud and on a stifling hot night, we had to close the windows and doors to try and keep the noise to a minimum. Wouldn't have been so bad if he'd been any good but he was terrible. Probably wouldn't return as thought it was a bit expensive for a 2 night stay and wasn't the peace and tranquility we wanted from a short break.

Lovely little glamping pod. Placed away from all the noise, so nice and quiet. We come every year and enjoy it just as much every time.

Lovely accommodation, but experience didn’t live up to expectations

Modern design, had everything we needed in terms of amenities, plenty of towels and bedding available. Location was ideal for visiting nearby attractions. Julie was very helpful in arranging our check in outside of usual hours.

We booked based on some reviews describing it as ‘tranquil, peaceful’ etc. We found it to be the opposite - with music blaring from the nearby clubhouse until past midnight. There are also no window coverings above the sliding doors, so you are woken up with the sun rising. These two issues paired meant that there was a significant lack of sleep on what was meant to be a relaxing weekend away.

Peaceful, cozy and modern.

Loved how quiet this place is. It feels like you've escaped all the rush of everyday life. Very clean and smelt amazing right through our stay! Being able to watch the sunrise from the upstairs beds was beautiful. The on site pub/club house has excellent range of drinks and meals to suit everyone in the family.

The upstairs mattresses are a little thin.

I could hear music banging, it was only in the back ground and did not disturb me, but this was only in evening and did not go on into the night. Most of the time it was tranquil.

The loveliest property we've stayed

The host was extremely helpful and friendly. Location was beautiful, peaceful and central for surrounding seaside towns. Once in the pod, we weren't even aware of others; through the large glass doors at the front of the property we could just see our deck and the lake with a backdrop of trees, grasses and bushes beautiful! The pod was gorgeous- well planned out, modern, clean-such a lovely space. Beds were comfortable, shower was powerful and hot and there was everything we needed.

Lovely peaceful weekend away.

The pod was amazing,everything you needed was there,it was very modern and super clean The heating was on when we arrived,the lady on reception was very friendly and helpful,and came to check on us not long after check in to make sure we had found everything ok It was very peaceful and private and the fishing right outside the pod was great for my partner. There where Shops a very short drive away,where we could get food and the things that we needed for our stay Would definitely return in the near future

Lovely place to relax and watch the world go by.

The location is an ideal base for walking to nearby arcades and restaurants. The lodge we stayed in was ideal for us and lacked nothing, I'd like to praise the cleaning staff as the lodge we stayed in was dog friendly and it was spotlessly clean.

If I had to pick one thing to mark the lodge down on, it would be the towels, they are thin and lifeless but get some new towels and you have the wow factor.

Modern,well appointed pod. Everything in place to make for a comfortable stay. Layout makes the most of the feature glass front with double doors onto the good sized veranda. Overlooking the lake In front of the property witch also has your own peg if fishing is very peaceful particularly in the evening into the night. Not too far from all that chapel has to offer but nicely tucked away.

Amazing for all the family

The property was amazing clean and cosy, my husband had a great time fishing when ever he wanted the kids had lots of place to play and I could watch them without worry while enjoying a coffee. We came home today and have already book to revisit next year. Thank you so much for an amazing holiday x
