Sve je bilo odlično i više od očekivanog. Čistoća apartmana, pristupačnost, jednostavno nalaženje parking mesta, što mi je bilo od izuzetne važnosti, više su nego dovoljni argumenti da se ovaj smeštaj oceni Odličnom ocenom .

Parking was not always available

In principle this is a lovely 2 bedroom apartment in very quiet almost semi-rural location on the outskirts of Petalidi , but still only a few minures walk from the main seafront promenade of Petalidi town. The apartment is spacious with two balconies (facing in opposite directions, so sun / shade available throughout daylight hours). The main portico-ed balcony is huge, running the full width of the building and probably around 3 metres deep. We did have a number of concerns (see later). Having said all that, we would reiterate that we really did enjoy our time there.

However, any potential renters should be aware that the apartment appears to be the home of an elderly person that is vacated for the period of rental. This is reflected in the nature of the furnishings and the general clutter around the place. There was very little storage space available to us as most draws / cupboards were already in use. Not only that but there was a distinct air of hoarding and disorganisation (how many USB charging devices etc. does one really need and why not store them all in one drawer rather than in numerous different locations all over the place). There were also many other personal items dotted around (including some out in the open), some of them looked like they had been there, left untouched, for many years. As there was just two of us, we used the bed in the other bedroom to unpack onto as that was the only reasonable storage space available. We also felt that the kitchen area could do with a thorough clean & tidy / rationalisation (again so much clutter in the cupboards). The main missing item from the kitchen was an electric kettle. An electric toaster would have been useful as well. Many of the mosquito net "shutters" were broken and so totally ineffective. We did not use the very old (30+ years??) Bosch WFM 2010 front loading washing machine. Mostly because it just seemed dirty to us (see photos). Some instructions would have been useful as well. We have already informed the owners of our comments and hope that they will take onboard our suggestions.
