Sehr ruhig Lage! Dorfzentrum zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Sitzplatz vor dem Haus mit Sonnenschirm, sehr angenehm. In Küche alles vorhanden.

Honestly it was the best experience we have ever had, an unforgettable week that showed us how being eco-friendly is so easy. First we were a bit sceptical about the dry toilet but we got used to it very fast. The house has all the amenities you will need, not even a single thing is missing. Cooking in the small kitchen was lovely and having dinner outside in the garden was even better. The neighbourhood is peaceful and you can enjoy all the natural sounds from the surroundings. We even made a cat friend! Of course Florence was very kind and thoughtful all the time making things so easier since the first time we have booked many months ago until the last day of our stay. Can't stop thinking about going back already, will really miss this tiny "big" house!

Could just have used some more clothes/coats hanger.

The cabin itself is very small, but it is exceptionally clean and cleverly designed. Everything has its place, and the available space is used very efficiently. In reality, it feels more like a slightly larger camping trailer than a traditional holiday house. For a longer stay, I think it would be a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. However, for just a one-night stopover, it doesn’t feel worth the extra effort, especially considering the strict rules and guest responsibilities mentioned above.

First, the property has a dry toilet (composting toilet). This is not clearly stated in the description. In practice, it means using a bucket with sawdust and a scoop to cover your waste after each use, and then emptying the bucket yourself into the compost. I understand the environmental benefits and the desire to save water, but when renting an entire house I expected a higher level of comfort. Future guests should be aware of this before booking. Second, the property is not air-conditioned, even though the listing suggests otherwise. Instead, there is an evaporative air cooler where you can add ice packs, plus a fan. After spending the whole day outside, the house was extremely hot inside—more like a sauna—and the cooling devices were not enough during warm weather. Finally, the overall experience felt more like staying in an Airbnb than in a Booking-style holiday rental or hotel. There are many rules, requirements, and chores expected from guests. If you’re only staying for one or two nights while travelling, I would recommend choosing a hotel instead.
