We booked this B&B (which does not offer Breakfast, so not a real B&B), because of the close location to the historical center.
The host Stephania, unfortunately really lacks good manners, was unpolite, rude, loud and did not threated us like customers but rather as if she was doing us a favor or probably she was having a bad day. Since arrival and ringing at the door, my wife was rudely answered by her husband, which she excused him saying that probably he was sleeping (at 4:00 p.m.) and we woke him up; he spoke only Italian (because as she said "we were in Italy"?) so had to call her to come from another building to receive us. She said we were supposed to call her 30 minutes before arriving, because she sent an email at 12:30 asking to do so...but when she did so, we were on the road driving from the Adriatic coast, (not checking on our messages) to be there before 6:00 p.m., because if we arrive later she will charge as 15 Euros more for "LATE CHECK-IN" (never heard something like that before). When we asked her why did she not advised us much sooner of this "30 minutes before arrival", requirement, since it would have avoided the unpleasantness we went through, she said "that is the way I do my business" besides being too busy because she has other properties to look after. Although we stayed there because it was already paid for and just quickly checked-in, went out a returned late to sleep, so hardly spent time there, we found it odd to see a note which asked customers not to bring in food/beverages to the place and if the did so, they were required to dispose of their garbage somewhere else, this despite the fact that there was a small kitchen facility & fridge.
Overall we found it overpriced for what the property was. Spacious but old and dated. Uncomfortable shower. Good just to sleep, not a pleasant place to hang around.
