Perfect location

Owner greeted us upon arrival and helped us enter the condo. He took time to explain things, make recommendations on the area and answer all our questions. The space was very comfortable and in a perfect location for exploring the wonderful city.

A superb apartment which was very clean and nicely situated in pile beside the old city and the Fort

The location was amazing, just outside the city walls. A beach less than a few minutes walk. We arrived late. Dino met us carried all our luggage was always available.

Awesome place!

Amazing location. Just outside the city walls and very near to a swimming spot, not to mention another beach that is maybe a two minute walk. Everything was clean and organized. Communication with the host was clear and easy to follow. Would highly recommend this place to other travellers!

The only thing I would say could be improved would be a few more towels - or the chance to change them for fresh ones. Other than that, no complaints!

Amazing stay

We stayed at Hotel Rise Stay for a short trip, and honestly, everything about the experience was pleasant. The owner personally welcomed us and gave a great introduction to the area—what to do, where to go, and how to get things done. That helped a lot, especially given our short stay. The room was on the top floor (third floor), very clean, and had everything we needed. The location is one of the best parts. It’s just behind the Old Town—about a 3-minute walk—and the walk itself is pleasant. If you’re a Game of Thrones fan, you’re in luck: the place is right next to the West Harbour (Blackwater Bay in the show). There’s also a good bar, a restaurant, and a nice breakfast spot right next to the hotel. A quiet beach is just a few minutes away, and one of the main attractions (15 EUR entry) is only a 5-minute walk. Getting to the guest house wasn’t hard. If you’ve ever used Google Maps, you’ll be fine. Just note: taxis don’t drop you off directly at the entrance. You’ll need to walk 2–5 minutes through narrow old-town lanes. If you’ve got big luggage, that’s something to think about. That said, the street has a nice historic vibe and always felt safe.

only small downside: the bathroom was a bit compact—but it was super clean, and honestly, not a dealbreaker. Just something to be aware of. All in all, a good place to stay. Friendly host. Clean rooms. Great location. Slightly on the pricier side, but that’s expected in summer around Dubrovnik.

Perfect

Excellent for the price. Everything in the apartment was well thought out. The air conditioner and extractor fan worked perfectly; the shower and water pressure were great; there was a hairdryer, one shower cap, and one vanity kit provided. There was a clothes drying rack, a fridge, and a kettle — the tea and coffee were enough for three nights for two people. The biggest advantage was the electric heater in the bathroom — it’s brilliant, as no one wants to travel with wet swimsuits. We were also given beach towels upon request, free of charge. I really liked the keyless entry system — no need to carry extra keys. The host was wonderful and friendly.

Please note that there is no cleaning service during your stay!

The host Dino was great and met us in town, took our bags and walked us over to the room. The location was great 3min walk into town and so close to the best beaches. Dino even let us check out later for free T because our bus was coming later in the morning. Couldn’t recommend more!

Exceptional - look no further

Everything was excellent. we were greeted by both the owner and Jasper the man who's in charge of cleaning and maintenance. The room was beautifully appointed with air conditioning (essential!), fridge, coffee/tea facilities. The bed was extremely confortable. electric socks + USB charge points beside each bed. the shower room was great with everything working perfectly. The location is exceptional. Literally 20 seconds walk to the harbour and its charming bar / restaurant; excellent food. You are about 5 minutes walk from Pile gate and the entrance to the old town and its labyrinth of streets and shops etc. You could not find a better location as you are totally central and yet, it was peaceful. No noisy bars or discos; just calm and the sound of the birds.

It was a perfect location and room, and the transfers from the airport were well worth booking.

The location was perfect - a minute away from all the action, but not noisy at night. The room was very clean and cosy, and had air conditioning, which was required for our week away. They also arranged the transfers, so we had no worries finding the apartment, as we were shown personally to the door.

Perfect location, you have two decent bathing places just outside and the old town is a 5 minutes walk away.

It was on the ground floor, with people walking just next to the window and all the other guests walking past the door which was not sound proof, so we got woken up few times during the night.

Would stay here again!

Perfect location a few metres from the city walls gate, close to the Fort Lovrijenac and a few metres away from the sea. The host is amazing, very knowledgable and fun. We had his contact on whatsapp in case we needed something, but otherwise we never saw him expect for check-in and check-out, which is exactly the way it's supposed to be. Awesome lad! The room has everything: super comfortable double bed, table, chair, a bit of a sea-view, nice bathroom and very important, it has a refrigerator! You can buy your drinks from the market and store a few there for a cool evening by the sea, instead of paying 7-8 euros per beer at the pub every day. Couldn't reccommend it more :)

Location was closer to Black Water bay from Game of Thrones. Amazing and friendly host who suggested things to do around Old Town and foods to eat. He also helped us with our heavy bags to leave them early before check in and got the room ready before check in time.

Amazing location! Just outside town, but so close, and next to the coolest beach where mostly the locals go. The room was great, all new, with one of the best beds I slept in. I will definitely come back. The hosts were super helpful!
