Beautiful stay in Wait 'n Sea, Himarë

The hotel is located on top of a hill with a beautiful view to Himarë's beach. The hotel owner and his brother were very welcoming and the room was spotless with a stunning balcony looking over the sea. A major highlight was the breakfast, the best we had in Albania, fresh and delicious. We would recommend also the resturant Fig & Olive just 1 min walk from the hotel for lunch/dinner. Would definetly come again.

A perfect stay with warm hospitality, breathtaking views, and the best breakfast we’ve ever had.

We had a brilliant stay at Wait n’ Sea Hotel. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel truly welcome. Our room was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and the view was absolutely stunning. The breakfast was a highlight — full of variety and clearly made with love. We’ve never had anything like it elsewhere. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return next time. Best decision ever !!

Room with a view & wonderful hospitality

Beautifully located family run boutique hotel. Long winding road to get there but the view was spectacular. Across the road is one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at. With a sunset view to die for! The breakfast here was really lovely & nothing we asked for was an issue. I wished we could stay longer.

If you have a lot of luggage, there’s no lift, but the staff helped us with our suitcases. The room was quite small, but the bed was super comfortable, so it made up for it.

Great views and staff!

The staff (a family) made us feel really welcome and fulfilled every wish we’ve asked for. They cleaned the room every day and it was really clean and new in general. The view is amazing from balcony, shower and breakfast terrace. For breakfast in pre season they serve fresh egg dishes, pancakes or something similar and some snacks. Next to it, there is a really nice restaurant (fig and olive), but for the city of Himarë you should rent a car. The closest beach is 25 minutes by feet. Thanks for the nice stay!

A stay with beautiful moments and comfort, but a few practical shortcomings to keep in mind.

The hotel offers stunning views, a very comfortable bed, and a delicious, fresh breakfast each morning. The atmosphere is peaceful and the setting is ideal for a relaxing stay.

There is no elevator, which means carrying luggage up three flights of stairs. In the evening, there’s no bar or restaurant available, and the hot water ran out due to the solar boiler system. Only after insisting did we receive a room upgrade as compensation.

Beautiful bedroom and shower view, super clean, comfortable rooms, tasty breakfasts and best owner together with his family. They know how to run business and keep clients happy. We’ll come back for sure.

Amazing ocean views!!!

The location is great, close enough to the main town but also quiet, so great to sleep at night. We booked the double deluxe with a sea view and the views were incredible! It felt like sleeping on a boat. The room was sparkling clean, bed was comfortable, same with pillows. AC worked perfectly, parking was also good, lota of space available. Breakfast is also great, lots of options and very fresh. The kindness of the staff, who are always smiling and offering tips for food and activities was also great. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend! Thank you for a great stay!

Amazing views from both room and shower (Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View), friendly and helpful staff with good tips like restaurants, spacious bathroom and balcony, great location between two beaches, plenty of parking in front of the hotel, good breakfast considering Albanian standards

No proper blanket (only a linen with an optional blanket on top), quite bright in the morning due to big window front and missing curtains in front of the balcony door, single use bathroom amenities only, no credit card payment possible

- the view - comfort of the room - room very clean and spacious - if you’re looking for a peaceful place with not much people around this is it

- noisy : loud door closing, children screaming soundproofing is not perfect - far from center you have to come with your vehicle or pay a taxi to leave or go back to the hotel - limited breakfast choice and the food stays outside no cover on it

Great family owned hotel quietly located above a small beach in Himarë. Immaculately clean, fabulous shower and water pressure, great breakfast, always available host, free parking, gorgeous views, super friendly family. Loved this place and will be back!
