Poor value for price at ~200 euros per night, but run by a very kind and helpful family

Very nice family-run business, the hosts were very kind and hospitable. Very great group of people.

The value for price is poor at ~200 euros per night. I have stayed at much nicer places in much busier beach town for the same price. Some basic things that made it difficult to justify the price: (1) Wi-Fi was slow (<10 Mbps) and very spotty. I couldn't load a basic Wikipedia page without waiting 2 minutes. (2) Rooms are rather basic (bed/bathroom/closet/fridge) for the same price charged by nearby 4- to 5-star hotels. (3) Air conditioning unit's remote stopped working every 30 minutes. (4) Bath soap was very basic - only a combo shampoo/conditioner and a soap bar for the body. (5) Building generally is rather old in comparison to nearby 4- to 5-star hotels. (6) Beach area is small relative to the number of guests.

Very enjoyable - we plan to return.

The owners, Ioanna and Alex were very friendly, kind and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast Ioanna prepared herself every morning with her produce, including a different homemade bake every day. The room was comfortable with a big balkony.

The hotel is located a few steps from the beach, the beach chairs are very comfortable and included in the price. The owners and staff are very friendly. The breakfast is fantastic, the homely atmosphere is like being at a relative's house. The rooms are new, with comfortable beds and a balcony, we had a view of the sea ;)

Perfect beach vacation

Location right in the beach was amazing with beach furniture supplied by the hotel. best breakfast in Albania! especially loved that the host gave us fruit to take away for our day on the beach. it was very quiet while we were there which suited us perfectly. I understand they expect to get busy in July. Walking distance to great restaurants and bars. you don’t need to leave Livadhi Beach. great price point

Unforgettable holiday, amazing beach, private sunbeds, super homemade breakfast, nice hidden locations around Lidadi which you can visit. Private parking if needed, nice view from the hotel. Ideal owners to have while staying, they treat you as a family member! Big thanks to everything! We will definately visit you again

Lovely place, with great beach and friendly owners/managers. Rates are a bit on the higher end.

Location is great: close to a beautiful well maintained and serviced (sunbeds available for free for tenants) beach with pretty scenery. The see water is clear and pleasant to swim/bathe in. The facility is 50m away from the beach the breakfast area is friendly and cozy. All rooms has side see/mountain view, which I thought was very cool and fair! Breakfast is simple yet rich and tasty, with daily home-made additions by the owners of the place. Owners and staff are genuine and casual, and always friendly, in a way that adds positively to the feel-home "family" experience. Food in the restaurants around is quite tasty.

The rates we paid seemed high for the overall value we got, especially when compared to other places we stayed in across Albania. Bathroom and kitchenet are practical/usable, but of substandard quality (broken towel handle, poorly equipped). The area is for some reasons noisy during the night. The last 500 meters of road to the facility is barely paved with giant holes in it.

Perfect choice for Livadh

We truly enjoyed our stay at Blue Horizon. The hotel is located 2 steps away from the beach, has its own private beach, with very comfortable sunloungers. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff is super friendly, and we enjoyed a delicious local breakfast. Highly recommended

הדבר הכי טוב במלון זה הצוות, סופיה הנהדרת הביאה לנו כשעזבנו את המלון צנצנת של ריבת תאנים שהכינה במיוחד עבורנו. הצוות ידידותי ומילאו כל בקשה שלנו. למלון יש חוף פרטי, עם מיטות שיזוף חינם לאורחי המלון. מרפסת עם נוף לים, חדרים נקיים, ושרותים חדישים ונעימים. ארוחת בוקר טעימה ומשביעה. המיקום של המלון נוח ממש ברצועה קטנה של מלונות רחוקה כ 15 מהעיר. עם כמה מסעדות נחמדות במרחק 5 דק הליכה.

Ein perfekter Aufenthalt im „Blue Horizon“ Das „Blue Horizon“ hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Die Strandlage ist einfach traumhaft – nur wenige Schritte trennen einen vom Kiesstrand und dem türkisblauen Meer. Besonders gefallen hat uns, dass der Strand sehr gut ausgestattet ist, aber keine überfüllten Hotelburgen in der Nähe stehen. So kann man die Ruhe und den Ausblick in vollen Zügen genießen. Das Personal verdient ein besonderes Lob: extrem freundlich, herzlich und stets bemüht, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen – vom herzlichen Empfang bis zur persönlichen Empfehlung für Ausflüge. Die Zimmer waren makellos sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wurden täglich gepflegt. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Sauberkeit und Wohlfühlatmosphäre gelegt wird. Ein weiteres Highlight war das hausgemachte Frühstück – frisch, abwechslungsreich und mit vielen liebevollen Details. Vom duftenden Gebäck bis hin zu regionalen Spezialitäten hat hier alles köstlich geschmeckt. Wer Erholung in traumhafter Lage mit herzlichem Service sucht, ist im „Blue Horizon“ genau richtig. Wir kommen garantiert wieder! ❤️

Super Lage direkt an einem der schönsten Strande in Albanien. Sehr individuelles Frühstück und bequeme Liegen mit Sonnenschirm am Strand inklusive. Diverse sehr gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Familenzimmer sind sehr groß, die Standardzimmer etwas zu klein für 3 Personen.

Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft

Unser Aufenthalt zu Beginn der Saison war sehr gelungen. Der private Strandabschnitt mit Liegen direkt vor dem Haus ist wunderschön. Es gibt kostenlose private Parkmöglichkeiten. Die Besitzer und das Personal waren sehr aufmerksam und haben sich super um uns gekümmert. Die Atmosphäre war familiär und sehr herzlich. Es gibt ausreichend Restaurants, Bars und kleine Supermärkte in direkter Umgebung. Super Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge mit dem PKW. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen für einen entspannten erholsamen Aufenthalt.

Im Bad hätten wir uns lediglich noch eine Duschabtrennung gewünscht.

Grote kamer, balkon, recht aan het strand, lekker ontbijtje en vriendelijke eigenaresse. Leuk deel van Himare, maar strandtenten gaan pas ergens in mei open.

Van buiten ziet het gebouw er niet echt aantrekkelijk uit. Badkamer klein, wc wordt helemaal nat tijdens het douchen.

Wir als Familie würden das Blue Horizon immer unseren Freunden empfehlen und auch gerne wiederkommen.

Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen, es ist genug Infrastruktur vorhanden um ein paar Tage zu bleiben. Die Lage am Strand ist sensationell und der Familienbetrieb funktioniert einwandfrei. Alle Mitarbeiter:innen sind aufmerksam und seh freundlich.

Das WLAN war meinen Kindern nicht schnell genug und die Müllabfuhr fuhr Nachts den Müll ab. Das war bei geöffneten Fenster schon sehr laut, aber hat auch nicht wirklich mit der Unterkunft zu tun.

Alles was top! Aan het strand, met gratis heel comfortabele strandbedden, lekker ruime kamer met balkon, en een werkelijk fantastisch ontbijt wat vers en met zorg wordt gemaakt.
