Wonderful stay in peaceful location perfect for exploring Zagori.

Lovely place in the stunning Zagori mountains. Friendly hosts, basic but functional kitchen.

Not many vegetarian options at on-site restaurant, but home-made feta was incredible!

Lovely stay in family run guesthouse.

Friendly welcome and good value stay. Beautiful to see the handicrafts of the area on display throughout the home. Wonderful to have a balcony and a shared kitchen available.

The room was a little small with the extra single bed so access to the balcony was difficult. Especially when we stayed for 4 nights.

Quiet village setting

Fabulous to be in traditional style house. Comfortable room with balcony and views across village and grassland. Love the sound of bells on the sheep. Village quiet and full of history . Parking easy

Lovely facility; extremely warm and helpful staff; complimentary beer provided before onsite restaurant opened.

No electric kettle or coffee maker available; note Ano Pedina lacks any type of mini market so…..

Best traditional stone house stay.

The nicest traditional stone house. Tastefully decorated. Lovely balcony view, lovely family. Shared kitchen/ dining facility. No microwave, but they had hot plates and an oven. Nice sized frig in room. Restaurant on location but we did not check it out. Loved the village. Lower key than some of the others (when we were there). Fast responsiveness from host. excellent communicator. Great value when we reserved. My favorite traditional place on the whole trip. Lucky to have the whole guesthouse (and even the whole town!) to ourselves. Very memorable.

Smallish shower and slightly finicky plumbing. neither a problem.

Would recommend to others who want a quit town away from the people in Monodendri, etc.

Stone building. Radiators worked well & extra blankets to take chill off. Well equipped common kitchen & fridge in room.

Barking dogs all night. Very hard to sleep.

Fabulous

Very peaceful, lovely garden and views, a great place to stay in the Zagorachoria. The owner is welcoming and there is a high standard of cleanliness. Adjoining restaurant serves good local food and there is a handy kitchenette in the communal area for coffee and tea. Terrific value for money as a base to tour the area. One tip - it is hard to find, the English signpost just says Alones, the taverna, and the Greek underneath that it belongs to the Achnoulas family, tricky to spot. There are two minor roads leading into the village, and you will find it between them where they intersect. Minor roads - no trafffic here and the only sounds church and sheep bells.

Το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται σε κεντρικό σημείο με εύκολη και γρήγορη πρόσβαση στα γύρω χωριά. Οι ιδιοκτήτες ήταν εξαιρετικά εξυπηρετικοί σε όλα. Στο ισόγειο υπάρχει και κοινόχρηστο κουζινακι με όλα τα απαραίτητα (τοστιέρα, ηλεκτρικό μάτι, βραστήρας).

Ruime en nette kamer

Zeer rustige locatie, grote en propere kamer, leuk dat er een terras aan de kamer was om buiten te zitten!

Weinig te zien in het dorpje zelf. Gelukkig was er aan het verblijf ook een restaurantje om iets te eten.

Forse per la stagionalità, l'unico ristorante disponibile in zona era quello della guest house che è piuttosto limitato come menù.

Soggiorno autentico nella natura

Soggiornare a Xenonas Achnoulas è stato davvero molto piacevole. La struttura è molto bella e pulita, camere comode e con tutto il necessario, cucina condivisa con thé, caffé e tisane a disposizione, ed un meraviglioso giardino dove poter mangiare. Il ristorante di fianco offre servizio colazione e cena, con prodotti locali di alta qualità, tra verdure dell'orto e feta fatta da loro, a prezzi estremamente corretti. Tutti estremamente accoglienti e gentili. La posizione è meravigliosa e silenziosa, di notte si sentiva solo l'allocco cantare. A pochi minuti di macchina raggiungerete tutti i sentieri o cittadine circostanti. Un luogo autentico dove rilassarsi e godersi la natura, più che consigliato 💚

💔Viaggiatore sensibile, questo è per te! Non ha nulla a che fare con la struttura, ma purtroppo vedrai molti gatti in condizioni terribili, e questo può spezzare il cuore oltre a influire sul tuo soggiorno. Fornire acqua e cibo aiuta temporaneamente, ma spesso gli animali non sopravvivono all’inverno. Authentiek huis, met zorg ingericht. Fijne sfeervolle plek waar je je thuisvoelt. In een schitterende omgeving.

Heerlijk rustige plek. Sfeervol huis. Prachtig gelegen aan de rand van het dorp. Lieve familie. Alsof je thuis bent.

Het enige dat mist, is een wasmachine. Dat zou het perfect maken.

Πολύ καλή επιλογή ξεκούρασης στα Ζαγοροχώρια.

Ο ξένωνας και το χωριό συνολικά είναι για όσους αναζητούν ηρεμία και χαλάρωση. Το δωμάτιο ήταν μονόκλινο, από το παράθυρο δρόσιζε αρκετά και το κρεβάτι άνετο.Στην όμορφη αυλή μπορείς να απολαύσεις τον καφέ σου και το βραδάκι λειτουργεί ταβερνάκι. Οι ιδιοκτήτες φιλόξενοι, σε κάνουν να νιώθεις άνετα. Η τιμή του ήταν πολύ καλή.

Ίσως για πιο ζεστές ημέρες οι ανεμιστήρες οροφής να είναι μια λύση. Τις ημέρες που ήμουν ήταν δροσερά.

Εξαιρετικά δωμάτια σε μαγευτικό μέρος

Είχα κανονίσει οικογενειακό 3μερο για rafting και λοιπες δραστηριότητες στην περιοχή και η θέση του ξενώνα είναι εξαιρετική, σχεδον στον κέντρο απο όλα τα σημεία ενδιαφέροντος. Πολύ όμορφος χώρος και δωμάτια καθαρά, με ρουστικ έπιπλα προσεγμένα. Μπόνους η αυλή για καφέ ή διάβασμα βιβλίου στην δροσιά και το ταβερνάκι ακριβώς δίπλα. Το προσωπικό εξαιρετικό, φιλικό και πρόθυμο να εξυπηρετήσει. Επίσης στο κοινόχρηστο κουζινάκι έχει όλα τα απαραίτητα και ήταν πολύ βολικό.

Το μόνο που μπορώ να σκεφτώ είναι οτι θα μπορούσαμε να έχουμε 1 πολύμπριζο στις πρίζες των κρεβατιών ωστε να φορτίζουν οι συσκευές το βράδυ, κάνοντας χρήση παράλληλα με το πορτατιφ. Η αλήθεια είναι οτι δεν το ζήτησα, πιθανά να είχαν για να μου δώσουν.

Aux portes des fabuleuses Gorges de Vikos !

Accueil chaleureux et ambiance très calme, emplacement idéal pour visiter les merveilleuses gorges de Vikos et son chapelet de villages tous plus beaux les uns que les autres. Ne manquez pas de vous régaler au restaurant qui est sur place, un vrai délice traditionnel grecque 😋

La déco un peu désuète mais cela fait partit du charme de l’établissement

voll ausgestattete Küche mit Gratiskaffee und -tee, großer Eingangsbereich mit Ess-/Arbeitstisch, tolles traditionelles, liebevoll hergerichtetes Steinhaus, Stille der Umgebung, Lage, perfekter Ausgangspunkt zur Besichtigung der Vikos-Schlucht, der beiden Dörfer Papigo, der "Brückentour" rund um Kipi, trotz totaler Einsamkeit direkt mit dem Übernachtungshaus ein Restaurant verbunden
