The hotel is beautiful and the location couldn’t be better. Minutes’ walk from the bazaar and castle. It is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Owners are so hospitable and kind. Taking a trip to Gjirokaster was a highlight of our trip to Albania.
It is a little noisy at night. I’d recommend earplugs. Roosters started around 4am, there are many stray dogs that seemed to bark around same time, and then the call to prayer began at 5:30am. If you are a lighter sleeper, you may have a harder time without earplugs.

It’s like travelling to the past! The rooms are so beautifully decorated, maintaining the ottoman characteristics, that you truly feel like sleeping in another era. The location is perfect, beautiful view, very rich breakfast. The owners are super friendly and helpful.
