Quirky, well appointed and spacious apartment with great views. Great for a couple.
The stairs up could be difficult for some people or for those with large luggage, but a sun terrace and good views across Avignon await at the top. The key/lock situation would benefit from an upgrade and another key so you are not reliant on going in/out together.

Good location in central Avignon within easy walking distance of all the main sites. There were great views from the balcony over the city. The kitchen was well equipped.
It was difficult to access the accommodation as there were around 70 steps up a narrow spiral staircase which had no banister in places. It was therefore difficult to get the suitcases up to the room and would have been impossible for anyone with health or walking difficulties or with young children. This needs to be made clearer on the website. In addition, the pick up of the keys was difficult as I had not been given an access code for the key box and the number I was given to phone on arrival was not answered (apparently their phone battery was dead). I ended up phoning the owner directly who we then had to wait for as he had to travel to get there. In addition, though the owner came up to the flat he did not show us round and it was therefore difficult to find essential items like cutlery.
