Ponte Vecchio Newly restyled flat, Walk Everywhere

The apartments location is amazing and just what we wanted for opportunities to pop back between activities and when returning back late at night. Its a few meters from the Ponte Vecchio on the quieter side of the Arno-ideal. The check in process was great. Helena was friendly and knowledgeable and communication was great and direct via whatsapp to arrange everything. We did have self check in instructions but when later checking for the keysafe we could have used, we were unable to find it. We carried the keys with us anyway each day so it didnt matter but maybe just conform its there if you need to self check in! The security shutters were great for night time darkness, the air con was adequate in the living area, even in a heatwave, and great in the bedroom. The bathroom and kirchen are very clean and the kitchen is amazingly well stocked for a holiday rental. The living area is taken up a little by the sofa bed when in use but it's spacious overall, so this wasnt an issue. The lift was reliable during our stay. We would 100% stay here again!

The only issues we noted were that the windows open fully which on the 5th floor may be a concern if travellers have children. The security shutters come down over them when closed but to let light in, you would have them open. Its likely because there didnt seem to be a fire escape (or if there was, we didn't find it) so the windows would be the route for a rescue situation, therefore need to open. There is no washing machine or oven-neither mattered to us, but may be of importance to other guests(?)

The location was perfect. It allowed us to explore other neighborhoods, true artist studios and small local restaurants.

Since our stay was for a month, the only thing that would have been helpful was an oven. Other that that, we loved the apartment.
