10 day stay , and could have stayed longer !

We parked the car up and hardly used it at all during our stay. Location was excellent for walking in to the town . Living room and bedroom were great size . Kitchen was compact but immaculately clean and very well equipped with everything you needed including cleaning materials . I still managed to cook a full Christmas lunch with a bit of a juggle ! The hosts were very helpful and easy to deal with , and left a lovely hamper and sloe gin which was really thoughtful . It was really quiet and we had the bedroom windows open at night and you could hear the sea “ roaring “ blissful .

Lovely little break in a cosy apartment

This apartment really is a hidden gem. It is probably one of the best equipt rentals I have stayed in, with all the little extras you may need to pack for your time away (washing tablets, condiments and cleaning materials, games and even mini freezer above the washing machine in the utility cupboard) The bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in with lovely bedding and a very spacious bedroom. Plenty of storage, hooks and seating. The sofa bed in the lounge, also had a thumbs up from my teenage son! The apartment is cosy and well decorated and being on the 2nd floor, very quiet.

Nothing. Please don’t let the comments about the smell of smoke in the communal hallway or stairs put you off as this was brief and no different to walking past someone smoking in the street

Ideal for our long weekend, near enough to the town centre but far enough out to be quiet.

Large bright airy rooms. Plenty of seating, fully stocked kitchen, everything we needed. Bedroom large with comfy bed and plenty of hanging and draw space and yes we could see the see from the bed. Everything was clean and tidy. Literally a 3 minute walk to the bottom of the high street seaside end.

Nothing the owners can do but as soon as you enter the communal hall the smell of smoke is not good! Also note there are 31 stair to the flat probably not ideal if you have packed big heavy suitcases.

Lovely tasteful accomodation

A great flat, very comfortable and thoughtfully provided with everything necessary. Tastefully furnished and good quality cooking pots, pans, crockery etc. Great location, minutes from the promenade and beach (plus a glimpse of the see from the rear window). Easy walk to the town and station.

Excellent - location was perfect and the apartment was spacious, clean and very lovely.

The apartment was very spacious, well decorated and very clean. The kitchen appeared to be equipped with everything we would have needed; we didn't actually cook or eat in as we were visiting friends and they kindly fed us.

A welcome pack was mentioned in the booking but wasn't explicitly evident (when we've stayed elsewhere welcome packs have typically been in a basket and labelled as such). However, tea, coffee, sugar and washing-up things were provided, so maybe those were the welcome pack, and we appreciated them regardless, so not an issue as far as we were concerned. There was nothing not to like!

A very relaxing break in a lovely small coastal town with easy access to other holiday attractions.

A most enjoyable week spent in the comfortable and well equipped flat. The location of the flat was ideal for the beach and coastal walks, the shops and the bus and train station. The public transport system was very good which meant the car was almost unused for the week

Nice spacious apartment with modern kitchen and equipment and comfortable furniture.

The flat was very nice and in a very good location. It was well equipped in every respect and was pleasant to stay in. The rooms were spacious and the furniture was comfortable. A large Sky Glass TV on the living room wall made evenings pleasant also. An allocated private parking space was available and seemed to be essential in this area. This made going out for days in the car less hassle as we didn’t have to worry about parking when we got back. The beach, high street and train station were all just a few minutes walk away.

A light above the bathroom mirror would have been useful but it was easy enough to manage without it. The flat is on the second floor of the building and the second flight of stairs is quite steep and a bit awkward to carry luggage up. Worth the extra effort though as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again in future.
