Boudoir degli Orti, Unconventional Stay in Borgata, Siracusa

This beautifully restored, clean apartment was perfect for exploring Siracusa and nearby Ortigia. The kitchen is small but stocked well enough to take advantage of the abundance of local markets. The bed was super comfy, and with the windows closed, it was quiet, providing a restful stay. The attention to detail in the fixtures, lighting, tiles, and paint was much appreciated, along with the complimentary bottle of wine waiting in the nice-sized refrigerator. Communication was quick and easy, and although I never met the host, self check-in was easy and I was able to arrive early to the apartment. Although Ortigia is a 15 to 20 minute walk, I enjoyed having the excuse to wander and explore, and there were also some lovely, friendly places nearby to sit and have a cafe. There is also the market at Santa Lucia on Sunday just a few minutes away.

Everything was delightful.

Boudoir degli Orti is a real gem of a place. The setting is quiet, peaceful and tranquil, and yet still close to a wide range of Syracuse and Ortigia’s spectacular architecture and amenities. Everything about the apartment itself is stylish and charming.

Nothing not to like. Even when we had a problem with water pressure one day our host Sonia was right on it and had found out it was a temporary emergency work that would be over shortly (and it was).

이탈리아에서 묵은 숙소 중 단연 가장 아름다웠습니다. ‘빈티지 부띠끄’라는 표현이 딱 어울리는 곳이에요. 객실 크기도 넓고 모든 생활공간이 분리되어 있어요. 침실 드레스룸 거실 주방 욕실 테라스로 구성되어 있습니다. 신혼부부가 바로 들어와 살아도 될 만큼 생활에 필요한 모든 집기와 용품이 완벽하게 구비되어 있습니다. 집주인도 매우 친절하고, 소통이 잘 되어 편안하게 지낼 수 있었습니다. 숙소 주변 환경도 훌륭합니다. 도보 5분 거리에 마트, 약국, 식당, 술집이 모두 있고, 주택가 지역이라 밤에도 조용합니다. 오르티지아 섬의 가장 먼 곳까지도 걸어서 30분이면 닿을 수 있어 산책하듯 여행하기 좋습니다. 넷플릭스와 유튜브를 볼 수 있는 TV, 안정적인 와이파이, 전동식 블라인드가 있어 편의성도 최고입니다. 두꺼운 암막커튼 덕분에 낮에도 숙면을 취할 수 있었고, 숙소 앞 거리가 밝은 가로등으로 밤에도 안전하고 안심이 되었습니다. 가성비 좋고 예쁜 숙소를 원하신다면 강력하게 추천합니다.

숙소로 올라올 때 약간의 계단을 오르내려야 함. 주변에 낮 시간에 공사하는 건물이 있음(숙소의 잘못은 아무것도 없다)

Outstanding apartment, which is tastefully styled and decorated. We really appreciated the attention to detail the owner has gone too to present this beautiful apartment. It is fully equipped with everything you might need & more. Spacious , quiet and very comfortable with free parking on the street, it is a short walk to Ortigia. We would definitely recommend to friends & family to stay here. Brava Sonia, thank you !
